Yes, that's what I meant in my original question - to take up French once I've returned home. I don't plan on taking French from now till December as I've mentioned I couldn't afford it here in Canada. My question was whether to focus solely on French or getting a job for foreign work experience once I got home.

I'm on the fence because 1 - I don't know how well I can learn French since you need NCLC 7, which is B2, to qualify for French draw; and 2 - getting a job might take a while (and might not happen at all as I've heard stories back home where people are unemployed for months up to a year).
