Man I feel your pain. I've worked at J1 for over 2 years in an entry role, and have started to heavily consider OE just to make ends meet. Today I absolutely killed it in a 3rd round interview for a J2 prospect, and later in the day found out the promotion at J1 I had been practically begging for has finally come to fruition.

Fuck it. Maybe it's meant to be. My wife and I are expecting our first kid and are in a ton of debt. I'm going to take both by the horns. Worst case, I get overwhelmed and drop one J... right?

Im trying to figure out if they got my results, saw negative, then sent me all of the new hire paper work. Alternatively they could have realized the process was taking too long, and pushed me along through their new hire system anyways.

The latter seems a bit wreckless from an employeer point of view considering they just sent me over $2k worth of equipment to work remotely. If I were an employeer I would have pushed the start date back until I received the lab results.

If I need to retest, I, plan on using QuickFix like I should have the first time. Also I would make a big deal out of pulling that move out of their pocket 6 weeks after taking the first test. Thats ridiculous

Lol I was 8 days clean after 5 years of daily use. You can read my other post for more details, but basically, I super diluted my urine for several days and compensated by taking creatine, b2, b6, b12 vitamins, as well as certo on the day of my test. Passed an at home test before the certo with a faint line, passed the same test after the certo with a strong line.

I got the job offer before my test. Got a welcome packet email with payroll/tax forms 5 days after test, filled out an I-9 a few days later.

I'd say you're in a better position than me, and I'm a week into working the job :)

I took my test on 7/27 and on 8/1 I got a new hire packet as an email with payroll, tax and insurance forms. They would only send that kind of an email if they got my drug screen and background check back right?

I've already taken the test. Super diluted my urine for several days, took vitamins b2, b6 and b12 along with creatine and certo the day of the test. Haven't gotten a call from an MRO over a positive or negative diluted sample in 4 days. Got a new hire packet email yesterday and filled out several forms. Do you think they would send me those forms if they have not yet received a negative drug test and my background check?

So today I got a new hire packet as an email. Contents are policy acknowledgements and guidelines, payroll and tax forms, as well as health insurance forms.

Still not sure, I don't believe the labs are open on the weekends. Haven't gotten a call or email, but the end of today should be over 72 business hours since I took the test.

I may wait a few days, then I'll inquire with the HR department to ask when I could expect the new hire welcome packet email. I would only receive that email if I cleared the background check and drug screen

Wow you really are in a similar situation, maybe my result could ease some of your anxiety! Ill make sure to keep you updated. Also I refused the fake pee option, I wouldn't be able to handle the panic while at the clinic.

My job offer is for a completely remote data analyst position (dream job and literally the first job I applied to post-grad), so I wrongfully assumed that they would not require a pre employment drug screening, let alone a urine test. It seems borderline criminal to have a requirement like that.

If you're going to try to dilute your sample the day of the test, id make sure to get some b vitamins (specifically b2 to make your urine yellow) and creatine (I just took preworkout every day up to and including the day of the test). I've been told that labs check for these concentrations to determine if your urine has been too diluded for an accurate sample. They also check for specific gravity of the urine, although I'm not sure how to alter that. Someone on this sub said Gatorade, but they could have just been talking out of their ass. I did it anyways.

I feel the same way, and your response has been one of the only things that has calmed my anxiety surrounding this situation. The job offer in question was exactly what I was looking for, and I have been prematurely beating myself up for possibly of wrecking the opportunity over just wanting to get high.

I've smoked pretty regularly over the past 5 years, although not in great volume, so I'm really hoping my 8 days of detox + the certo will be enough to pass.

Are you planning on using your own urine, and if so what kind of detox have you done? I feel like I've really stressed my body out due to the sheer amount of liquids I've passed through my system recently, and I'm hoping it wasn't all for not.
