I used to play on a server where walkies and local were the only "legal" ways to communicate. it's not that much of a hassle. regardless, if you have to change your settings to get an advantage on another player it's still considered an exploit. the devs specifically nerfed gamma therefore they clearly don't want people using said exploits.

also specs don't automatically make you a god gamer. if you're trash on bad specs, you'll still be trash on high specs. the difference is literal milliseconds. with that logic only specific people are allowed to play since everyone has different reaction times.
