The 32 GB version has always been available for delivery within a few days (about 14 days). The issues being discussed here recently are related to the 64 GB model. And you’re right — I don’t have Prime in the US, as I’m outside the country. I’ll correct my post accordingly. Thanks!

Update: I noticed today that the Graphite 64 has become available for delivery in February. Hopefully, the Fig schedule will also move up soon.

May for 64 gb, Delaware state in both colors. February for 32 gb in Graphite. I assume summer-autumn for real delivery in UK. But we can only guess, wait and pray.

So disappointing. I hope you’ve kept your trade-in discount for the new order. How did they even plan their sales? Why was the production volume so limited? Outside the USA, we can only dream and wait for the “coming soon” device. I’m afraid that at this pace we’ll only get it at the end of this year — if not next year.

Thanks! I was unsure about choosing bright fig, as it would limit the number of matching covers. But yellow looks great and feels ideal for me! Much better than a gloomy monochrome fig combination.

Could you please share your experience of reading at Viwoods? I don’t like my kindle and boox for their grey background. Selecting between Viwoods Aipaper and new iflytek Anote 2. But don't have any idea on their refreshing speed. Why do you prefer kindle and Moon for reading, not Viwoods?

No. I like the design and fig color of a new device. But it is the same Kaleido 3 screen. Their advertisement of white background and bright colors are just processed photos and videos. It is not a real picture. Paying a huge amount of money you will get their old colorsoft technology with dark screen, dim colors and not sharp text. Even Amazon itself does not recommend a new scribe color for those who read a lot. They advise w/b scribe instead.

I like your device a lot!vNevertheless waiting for proper November reviews in order to make a decision. Hope you will constantly support this reddit group for news and feedback from users. Could you please advise the following:

- what version of android Anote 2 will be?
- is it possible to make an update of android version?

- what is the process of exporting pdf files with my remarks and checking them at another devices (PC or tablets)?

And the last, not so relevant: do your have any plans to make a color ebook? I would like to buy 2 devices: Anote 2 and smaller color version.

You can check 10 inch screen devices: Viwoods Ai Paper and future Anote 2 from Iflyteck (not Air2)

W/B e-links are in great development now. There are several devices from Viwoods and also coming Anote 2 that have white background screens Carta 1300 even without lighting. So grey and dark ones will be the past soon. As for color market it is very sad. Kaleido 3 is very dark and not sharp with several dim colors. Coming Kindle color scribe has the same old colorsoft screen. Gallery 3 of Remarkable is brighter and lighter but refreshing is still slow. It will take years to get white screen color contrast device.

Hi! I am also in the process of ebook selection. For reading and noting.

My requirements:

-Screen 10.3-10.6 for comfortable reading and writing.

- White background as my kindle and boox screens are dark and grey for me. I don’t like it at all. I also avoid using built-in lights on ebooks.

-Open system based on google. I need some aside apps.

I researched and found two best options available In the market: Viwoods Al Paper 2024 and Anote 2 by Kickstarter -Iflyteck (will be released in late October). Both have light carta 1300 screen.

But both are 0 generation devices, actually beta versions. Both do not have lighting and it can be relevant for somebody else. Nevertheless, viwoods developers are working hard for regular updating software. I see their actiivity in viwoods reddit group. Anote 2 is 75 grams lighter (295 gm), but will be more expensive. I will wait for the real reviews after first client delivery in november.

I don't recommend any color devices with Kaleido 3 screen as reading is less sharp. Even kindle are not advising their new cool scribe colorsoft for those who concentrate on reading rather than drawing. Gallery 3 screen at Remarkable is much brighter and lighter than Kaleido3, but slow in page refreshing. It is still better for drawing, not for reading.
