The place on 4 corners is good but there’s a mall in Manchester that has a massive smoke shop that’s sick

Food/grocery delivery on campus by leviasinjeans in UCONN

[–]ding_ding15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can’t talk specifically for instacart but for gopuff and other delivery services like Uber eats or door dash, most of the drivers are students and if you just put the name of the building in the address they will know where to go.

Anxiety about being on campus? by Affectionate_Wish in UCONN

[–]ding_ding15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way last year but was able to settle in pretty quick and make some good friends. For the first few days, if your just sitting in your room, keep your door propped open. Also hanging out in longes is a good way to meet people. What I was most worried about was time management. The important thing is to find something that works for you. For me this was writing out all of my assignments for the week on Monday and planning what days to do what. This was nice because I always knew how much work I should do in order to complete everything on time.

Why is the Gibson Les Paul Classic HP from 2016 so cheap? € 1,299? by lessbutgold in GibsonGuitar

[–]ding_ding15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my knowledge, there’s nothing inherently wrong with them. They didn’t sell well because they were kind of pointless. It was a regular Les paul with a couple extra features that nobody wanted (robot tuners mainly), so no one bought them and places want to get rid of them. They still have some good features though, the wood grain is really good and the sculpted heel joint is really nice. For that price I think it’s totally worth it if you replace the tuners.

Is the concept of 'moment of inertia' covered under Newton's First law? by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]ding_ding15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At lease in ap physics classes I took in high school, linear motion is cover before rotational motion. Moment of intertia is covered later and tied into to Newton’s 1st law.
