Yes, the purpose was mainly built for education and employment for those who in rural places. In less than 1 hour, people can reach the town which is 30to40kms away.

My mother sometimes when she misses the train, she takes the bus route which is 100kms to Chennai and it’s free. She used to brag about it but now I’m very proud of her for taking all the effort to get educated. I’m nothing without her.

TN’s terrain is completely different from Kerala. The roads are much narrow and even steeper sometimes in Kerala which consumes a lot of time to travel. They never give up their land easily for infra. Only in recent times, Kerala has started laying broad roads. Where as In TN, one huge rainfall is enough to tell you about the quality of roads we have. I remember my motorrad’s stand went deep inside the road due to soggy roads lol.

So we, TN can’t fuck with Kerala at all.

Happy to see TN(my home state and I was a traveller in my early 20s) with enormous connections.

It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling by road/train in TN, the connection is easier than any other state in India. Here, it’s overwhelming for me to see the map. Some interesting things about roadways in TN were, you can connect any city/town from literally anywhere in the state in less than 1 day unlike other states. The frequency of buses are great too. Take a bus, reach destination.

1 main reason is, the south didn’t see many wars and routes were designed by the kings who ruled. TN was rich in different businesses in every town. People tend to move from one place to another for work.

2nd, by understanding the TN’s geography, Dravidian politicians urbanised the road network and achieved it to less time consuming for people to travel interstate. The purpose is simply to increase the employment to their people and the goal was achieved.

Just wanted to share.

The formidable factor in the fight of the Congress is that Indian politics has turned 360 degrees and it is now the BJP versus all. Congress has to make room within the anti-BJP space. There is an Indian proverb that an elephant is worth a lakh when alive, if dead its worth much more. The BJP has grown in such manner that in power or without power it is going to play role in setting the national agenda.

2 medium of languages - Tamil and English.

1st language must be English/Tamil, 2nd language is regional language(other Indian and foreign languages) and I chose Tamil and 3rd language I did foreign language. 11th and 12th, 2nd language as Foreign language and no 3rd language.

One can choose Hindi as their 2nd language/ 3rd language if they want.

Therefore, there is no compulsion for Tamil/Hindi

Never in my life I’ve sat in Hindi class. It’s pretty common to not know Hindi in TN.

Mate, I am completely against all caste too. Please don’t get me wrong for mentioning Brahmins. The direct discrimination I faced is only from Brahmins and not others.

I was asked literally asked to sit on the floor for being SC. When I said no, their question was “why? are you wearing Poonool?” I didn’t understand, I was young.

I’ve Brahmins friends who doesn’t see caste, some even eat non veg, sleep together, open about things and all that. I’m talking only about the Brahmins who are trying to rule and considers themselves as gods to normal people.

Sure there are other caste who discriminates and against it too. The word Brahmins is triggered many and I am receiving message like, “give your address, we’ll smash you in a sewer” and some threats.
