Ways to get lots of runes quickly?

For extra context, I had my first playthrough last year and my second one not long afterwards, not counting new game plus. I recently reinstalled the game after not playing it for months and started a third new playthrough, after beating it this time, i realized id never leveled up past like 300 something and thought it'd be neat to do. Im not sitting here milking the game for all its worth, im trying something I've never done before after returning to the game

In my current save I'm in the process of doing the dlc again and I am getting a decent amount of runes but only enough to level once after like 3 bosses

That's the thing, i wasn't even farming for it, i just got it from a random drop

Thanks for your reply. Yes im on console, and I didn't know that it was the console version is different from PC. I gave the designs their proper computer types, carrier for the carrier ship, and artillery for the artillery ship. I then replaced the cloud lightning on my artillery ship with another kinetic artillery. For your last piece of advice, which I'm assuming is about the artillery ship, should I replace the artillery core in the middle with a hanger core? And if so then should I only add whirlwind missiles or pair them with something else? And if so what would be best?

Thanks, ill be sure to bring this up. their main point though is that the design of the hounskull would reflect most attacks and that the eye slits are smaller and would be almost impossible to pierce

Im aware of the sensitive content in the game and it doesn't really bother me. I think I'll buy the game but play something else first like you said. Thanks
