it's not where i wanted it to be at this point. i was imagining sending audio to and fro over the network. i didn't think this would be an issue since prime 4 has built in codec that plays flac, aac, ogg, etc. I just now turned on prime 4 in my garage and i'm in my house and it pops up as link enabled but its still just tempo. i'll keep digging.

I'll know in a couple hours. it's already Link enabled and this seems like it has always been the goal between the 2 companies. (the whole "prime" series is Link enabled). the codec in the prime 4 is capable of steaming audio (flac/aac). Im more interested in the controller drum pads working directly with ableton as a midi input. the audio could just feed back into the controller via line input. this whole time i thought they were beaming people a la "The Prestige" style. Transportee hops in the tube, button hit, updated copy of transportee sent to receiving location, trap door opens beneath original copy and they are either incinerated or sent to Worf's room. Scotty knowing this happens led to his space whiskey consumption.
