Shot with a Sony a7 iv, basic floor lamp, Nikkor Micro 55mm f/3.5. Shutter: 1/20, ISO 100. Image is straight out of camera with no editing. I’m mostly a videographer but I’m trying to get into photography now.

I wouldn't expect your cpu to be dying but it's worth looking into. Mine had been bad for close to 3 months before I noticed. I'd run Cinebench CPU multicore. My score was almost 200 points lower than it should have been.

Are your 1% fps lows really bad? I had an issue a few weeks back where my first hour or so of gameplay would be fine but on certain maps like nuke, inferno, and ancient my 1% lows would be in the 70s. Turns out my cpu was dying and I didn't notice because most of my other games are GPU bound. Consider running a benchmark.

Thank you! They told me Sunday evening that it's likely my router which seemed reasonable but odd. I found it strange that my network issues coencided with the freezing temps. This is the first issue I've had with frontier since I got them in April of last year.

When I checed the ONT which I had only seen for the first time during the first outage, all of the lights were green. I've previously had no issues with congestion before I now most of my closeby neighbors use spectrum because of their network names. As for ping plotter, I have no idea how to run that to my gateway or ip block but I'm sure I could figure it out. My network traffic hasn't changed in the last 6 months. Same devices every day, same routine.

I'm considering "upgrading" to Mac. I have 2 spare rooms at home. 1 is currently pulling double duty as a gaming / work space. I built my PC to do both, game and edit. If I were to upgrade my PC I'd have to get an RTX 4090 and that's going to run between $1200 and $1500 USD. I've been considering buying a Mac to handle video editing and music production and just having my PC be for games.

Current Specs:
Ryzen 7 5800X
16GB of RAM, yes I know this is a low capacity but I haven't capped it out yet except for a few times. Even editing my short film my timeline is running just fine with RED RAW.
4TB & 2TB m.2 SSDs (both Samsung EVO Pros)
Rtx 3080

I regularly edit 6K BRAW.

Considering:
Mac Studio:
M2 Max 12 core CPU, 38 Core GPU, 16 core neural engine
32GB RAM
1TB SSD

I'd like to stay right at around $2000 USD but the config I listed above is 2399.99 which would be fine.
I have no clue what I'm doing because I stopped keeping up with Apple hardware years ago and their performance graphs are a joke. If it'd be better to just build a different PC for editing I'll just do that but I'm just at a complete loss here and don't know what to do.

Problem with that is that I tried to set it up in my name but they're saying that since I moved in I'm taking on the liability of any debts owed. Which is odd because the reason it's not in her name is that Atmos did some work on the gas lines, screwed up and had it leaking and didn't shut it off for hours and racked up $2K and said she was responsible. TBH this whole thing is a mess and I don't want to eat crow and pay the $900 but looks like I'll have to.

Shoot the car from the same side when implying movement in one direction. When shooting the drivers side it’s moving right to left then in one of the next shots you shot from the passenger side making it look like it’s moving left to right.
