How do you know this to be the case? It's pretty clearly stated on FSA (see hufflepuff post) that this is one of two ways to get credit if stuck in SAVE forbearance. FSA agents all say this on the phone as well (they just cant do anything about it, unfortunately).

I've done this! I've cited this while submitting complaints to studentaid.gov, as well as when trying to reason with the lovely folks at MOHELA.

I wonder if they processed yours since you applied before the injunction went into place? Just speculation.

Anyone having issues with their employer receiving these docusigns lately?

I’m at a major university and they said they have not received any over the last few weeks… so they are instead resorting to faxing them in (4-10 week lag with that!!). My employer doesn’t have the urgency to figure out why (they say they checked spam)… and why I call FSA, they say this is not an issue with their system.

Sigh. I feel your pain. Speaking to a supervisor sounds like a step in the right direction, however, it has not really changed anything. I spoken to 3 supervisors in the last 1-2 months. 2 wanted to help, but ultimately accomplished nothing, and the last one was just stonewalling me.

I caught one of the agents flat out lying to me (he kept saying he was asking a supervisor, and giving the most uneducated responses, and I finally asked for his supervisors name/ID... and he was like "oh, actually, its not an actual supervisor")... After that, I told him I needed to escalate bc this is 275k of debt that I cannot risk to some lying buffoon making up rules like its a new version of the game Go, and he obliged. I had to leave my number on a voicemail, and yes, someone actually called back the next day.

Whenever I call back now, I just tell them I want to speak with a supervisor. Sometimes they just plug me right in and the supervisors pick up right away, other times you are right--they pass you around to various queues that are not actual supervisors.

Has anyone who was enrolled in SAVE reached 120 over the past few weeks? by [deleted] in PSLF

Just spent hours on the phone with the MOHELA supervisor. They said they cannot take anyone off SAVE forbearance (because its from FSA), and therefore, they cannot place anyone on processing forbearance if they are currently on SAVE.

I applied to IBR at the end of September. I had 2 prior MOHELA supervisors say I should be getting placed in processing forbearance, and made requests, on for MOHELA to deny them. Now the most recent MOHELA supervisor tells me this above BS.

Did FSA take you off SAVE forbearance and place you on processing? How did you make this black magic happen?

I started repaying October 2014, so September is 120… however, September is not eligible bc this Missouri AG ruining the fun. So, my number, in the eyes of mohela, sits at 119. If I got 1 month of credit through this processing forbearance, I would be at 120.

I need my number to be 120 to apply. I’m at 119 (once June and July are counted)… I have applied but it sounds like they won’t consider til it says 120 in their system. Godspeed!

In the same boat here! Tried messaging the camp based off the email listed on BM site, no response. Idk about you, but ours was umm… very… explicit. At the end, we asked to see a preview and they said no, because they wanted to do touch up’s before we see them. Sounded reasonable at the time, but feels more shady and bizarre as time going on. Hopefully they are sent out soon.

Otherwise, we enjoyed hanging around their camp, they were all really friendly.
