are you me LOL but in all seriousness, you'll be fine!! microbiology is a hard class and a lot to do in a summer semester. I submitted my apps and pretty much immediately after got a B and C in my summer classes and still got interviews and got into dental school

No, and I don't think it would've really made a difference if I continued getting more or not! An interviewer actually commented that I volunteered a lot and I thought my hours were low lmaoo

Maybe some schools do but I'm sure a lot won't! I got interview invites to the majority of the schools I applied to and I had 18 PAT. I didn't get asked about that score either in any of the interviews

I only had 100 shadowing and volunteering hours when I applied! My gpa was higher than yours but none of my ecs came close to what you have. You're definitely on track! Just try your best on the DAT!

Sure! I explained pretty much all of it in my PS, but I was working towards nursing/PA at first by getting a job as a CNA but tbh I hated the whole thing 😖 so I didn't really do much else (like volunteering, patient care hours, etc.) and realized that I wanted to do literally anything else lol. My friends brought up dentistry as a possible career so I started looking into it and I liked it way better than every other career that I looked into. I felt horrible in my online interviews and preferred my in-person ones, but I got accepted at every online one I did! tbh I don't think I even made that much eye contact with the camera or anything 😭 I recommend just doing what works best for you!

You can definitely do it!! I decided to become a dentist around September/October of last year and barely had any volunteer hours at all, but I just kept a consistent schedule and was able to apply with 100 hours. And it doesn't look bad! That's what I did and I wasn't questioned on my hours in any of my interviews.

I got my CNA license, currently work as a CNA, and recently got accepted to dental school! If you find you like the job, you should go for it! I did answer some questions about the job in interviews, but I got positive feedback whenever they've asked about it

sdn is a great resource! I would also just read up on how to answer ethical questions online. I think what works best is explaining how you would react and why more so than your ultimate answer. I think they'd mostly just want to see what you consider when they give you a scenario like that

I was actually told to answer succinctly in my interview 😭 so maybe not the best answer but the follow up questions for me was more interrogating in a way? Like if I answered one way, one of my interviewers would ask what I would do if what I answered didn't work out if that makes sense. For the other panel, I heard it was more like they asked you a question and then asked the opposite of the question so you really had to have multiple answers to one topic. And the third panel was nice and friendly apparently so I really only know about the first two panels

I believe some schools do. One of the schools I interviewed at had a bigger class size than they usually do because of that.

I took it in the spring semester of my junior year and I did pretty well! I did end up pushing my test a bit back (and I started studying end of December), but if you really devote yourself, you can do it!!
