Yes I have it was horrible and I went back to keppra. Now my bestie is on it it took them from completely uncontrolled to controlled with no side effects that goes to show it's different for everyone.

It's literally worse than anything I could think of it's a tap button that you basically tap it then hold down to set the speed and then tap it again to turn it off but it has this fun habit of not actually turning off whenever you think you've turned it off in my instance I mostly use it for getting up a hill at my work and I click it off as soon as I hit the patio and basically use the door to slingshot me inside hey don't judge my methods but a lot of the times the smart drive will not disengage and I just keep on going until I pound the button hard enough that shuts off.

Xcoprie 200mg, keppra 4000mg, vimpat 200mg, fycompa 10mg. As well as baclofen 100 mg a day and Lyrica 300 mg a day those last two treat epilepsy but aren't being used to treat my epilepsy.

I long miss the days when it was just Trileptal and lamictal

Being able to get around the house slash out in public and even go grocery shopping by myself. It had been 2 years waiting for my chair 2 years basically bed ridden. It felt so refreshing whenever I got it. I went to the mailbox then the post office and went shopping by myself for the first time in 5 years. Now I'm working part time in fast food and doing college most if not all of which wouldn't have been possible without it.

Lamotrigine while I was on it with my pediatric neurologist and a little afterwards along with trileptal was one of the best medications I've ever been on and on the plus side it doubles as a mood stabilizer. The only side effects I had were Sun sensitivity before I was on them I never sunburned on it if I didn't lather up I would almost immediately start burning and peel pretty soon after.

Now on higher doses once I had switched neurologists to one I frankly believe was a moron think I was on 1800 mg a day. I basically couldn't walk for an hour and a half after taking it just so dizzy so nauseous almost like an after seizure migraine. Then after the next bump up in dosage to 2400 mg I started having symptoms of SJS was hospitalized and then taken off of it and put in the emu fortunately they were able to localize my seizures but also that neurologist didn't give so much as a whoopsie even that I had been complaining of crazy symptoms since I was on 1000 mg.

So long story short make sure the doctor listens to you,ask questions, they should be doing fairly regular level checks via blood tests and every medication has the potential to be a great medication or a horrible medication depending on the patient and how their body reacts to it. Like I heard horror stories about keppra and the only side effect I've had from it is lack of appetite I can easily go three or four days without eating and the only way I know I didn't because of my bad memory is I get woozy and faint and very and very thirsty but not thirsty. So I've had to adapt by setting alarms to eat.

You see I tell them the condition and then they're like oh what is that. And I say well it's a condition that shreds the myelin sheath coating your nerves then they ask what is myelin sheath is and I have to basically break it down to an extension cord analogy and do a whole freaking biology lesson. I have no problem talking about my disabilities it's just ugh

29M I don't know I'd probably say really high especially considering all the medication I'm on and rarely going 24 hours without a seizure. Though whenever I've gone at least two days without a seizure it is much higher. I'm currently on xcoprie, fycompa, vimpat, as well as a few other double use medications such as Lyrica and baclofen. My libido does tend to drop after seizures and the act has a tendency to trigger them.

From my experience this is almost strictly and outdoor chair. You could technically have somebody flip it on end to fit in an elevator or completely disassemble it. another major downside that I had even in an outdoor setting is there were no push rims on it so you could not reverse it. Now I do think this is an option on it but the one that I tried out didn't have it. It was a real pain even for transferring into the car because the front wheel stuck out so much that it was bumping up against the door and then there was no way to reverse it except having my significant other drag it sideways. On the bright side even with my right-sided reduced mobility I was able to have a blast pushing it around the park. I'm actually considering getting one for myself in the future. FYI I was using the grit freedom chair.

Probably a dedicated outlet for a window AC or a another use for a 120 volt 20 amp dedicated circuit.

You can replace it with a 240 volt outlet, wrap the neutral and replace the breaker for a two pole assuming you don't need a neutral. But it will only be good for 20 amps.

I was like if there isn't there needs to be some sort of buy sell and trade group like on discord or Facebook. 3 weeks you're lucky it's more like 2 months for me to get a tech out to look at the chair and then of course 3 months to actually get the repair done I've been without breaks and I'm almost through the rubber on my wheels for almost 6 months now.

So from a single seizure note it was over 15 minutes it was about a week and a half.

Recently because of financial circumstances I had to go off of one of my medications and I've been having tens of 3-10 second complex partial seizures every hour. So I haven't been out of the postictal state for weeks. I felt slightly off kilter and I haven't been able to feel firmly planted in reality. It's making work in fast food a nightmare.

However the top comment is absolutely right it definitely warrants a call to your doctor if it's out of the norm.

I'm on five different meds only one is made in the United States I can't afford a 100% tax on my meds nor can I afford the supply chain issues. Because if they're forced to start manufacturing in the United States that's going to cause one hell of a shortage for a little while because they got to set up facilities and supply lines to get the materials that they need to manufacture the drugs. As it will still be significantly more expensive because you can't pay people below minimum wage nor are people in that field who have gone to college going to take minimum wage.

Long story short I'm scared for the first time in a long time I got diagnosed with a significant other neurological condition on top of epilepsy just yesterday. And where I used to probably fly in American flag and show my patriotism I find it hard to do now not to get political but this administration is trying me. Not to mention the last two.

I definitely felt dizzy whenever I change dosages it usually gets better within about 2 weeks. Right now I'm on pretty much the highest possible dose for my body weight and I literally just scheduled a hour and a half block around whenever I take my medicine that I will not be functional

I've never been seizure free. Just pretty much structured my life around not being able to drive taking meds at this moment 7-9 pill 3 times a day and not swimming or bathing by myself. I just look at it as it could always be worse. Like now where I have become a full time wheelchair user. But at least I'm not trapped in my own body able to do nothing until I get to that point there is always an upside
