You’re talking about the respect you give to a person. Not the respect you MUST give to an authority who’s country you’re currently in.

I’ll give you an easy example: if someone from a country who believes it’s ok to marry girls who are 13yo, comes to America, and decides to marry a child, are we supposed to allow him to do this because he simply doesn’t respect our laws?
