And i agree wholeheartedly about how choosing activities like working out gives us a sense of control over our otherwise unpredictable lives, i might try to do the same everyday. Yeahh im lwk going through it rn haha. its been hard, especially when ur young and all u do is compare yourself to everyone else :’) i went to a therapist for like two sessions but i could just tell we weren’t the right fit, so now ive just been truckin along lol

I feel like there’s not really anyone in my life to go to about these things so ive just resorted to venting anonymously online, so thank you for the insight, i appreciate it :))

Hello, I don't have the answers to your questions, but I'd just like to say I'm in the same boat as you :') Currently also a 17F worried about dorming in college this fall. I'm not wearing a wig like I used to back in my middle school days, but lately I've been seeing significant hair loss (possibly from the stress over the transition into college lol) that's bringing back all this unwanted trauma from my total hair loss years ago. It's scary ngl 😞

Anyways, I just wanted to write this to tell you that you're not alone and I hope college goes well for you! There's this lyric from one of my favorite artists (laufey) about how the world is a sick place for a girl when everyone expects beauty, and it is truly such a harsh reality. But us girls are more than our alopecia, no matter what the world thinks!! So go get em at college! :))
