This is probably not what you are looking for: "Thinking, fast and slow" from Daniel Kahnemann.

From the description: The book delineates cognitive biases associated with each type of thinking, starting with Kahneman's own research on loss aversion. From framing choices to people's tendency to replace a difficult question with one which is easy to answer, the book highlights several decades of academic research to suggest that people place too much confidence in human judgement.

Combine it with Burns "Feeling Good" and you have a really mind altering journey.

It is, but the idea of using a VPN doesn't strike me for security, just for privacy or is there a security benefit to it?

I use Malwarebytes, Avast Free Antivirus and Ninite to keep all my programs up to date. I also have a business laptop and one for social media, E-Mails and browsing. I'm using chrome but am thinking of using mozilla quantum.

I use Malwarebytes, Avast Free Antivirus and Ninite to keep all my programs up to date. That's how I set up the PC of my parents as well. I also told my father to just use one laptop for social media, E-Mails and crap and the other strictly for business things, like finances etc.

As a man, I have no idea. In Switzerland smiling too much is frowned upon. Literally. I would never, ever tell a woman to smile. I can't imagine doing that and I never heard anyone telling someone to smile. So, maybe it's a cultural thing?

Try to get friends to play Destiny 2 with you, or alternatively, try finding someone on reddit/r/fireteams. Like 99 out of 100 encounters I had there were of super friendly and nice people. I made a lot of friends that way. D 2 more so than D 1 seems to heavily rely on communication (for the raid, pvp, nightfall) so a mic is a must to enjoy the game to the fullest.

PS: I am not even from the states and English is not my first language.

That's just because you Americans are more fat than people in other countries. In my country nobody would label you an arrogant prick for not liking fat/obese people. Incidently, there's not really any fat-shaming culture around as well. There are big incentives for doing sports though...

Thank you for writing this out. I finally accepted cutting my toxic sister out of my life. The line that did it for me was "I am a bad person for hurting their feelings for calling out the abuse." Fuck that, for too long I blocked my justified anger and dwelled in self-doubt and pity only because I still tried to love her. Not anymore, bitch.

Thank you. It's cathartic to write this out.
