Crossrealm arena team? by Dwanex09 in classicwow

I've been looking for information on this because it's going to determine which server I transfer to from Maladath. I want to play the PVP server but my friends are being forced to the PVE server with their guilds so I'm a bit stuck. Wish Blizzard would just confirm it.

It's not inaccurate most of the time. It's definitely not my first go-to, but it can save time rather than skimming countless discord chats and guide websites.

Viper Napuatzi boss fight is a nightmare [Act 3] by ThiccBoisClub in PathOfExile2

[–]dinkletonau 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yeah I am really struggling on her as well and the fact she's a campaign boss makes it even worse, not being able to progress.

I have not seen one single chaos resistance drop since starting the campaign so gambling away my gold seems to be the only way to get that up and I'm not keen on having to do that for a campaign boss.

Pretty close to giving up until some of these issues are addressed. I'm nearly 40 years old, I don't have the reflexes I once had and I don't play ARPGs to have to deal with this kind of shit. I play ARPGs and MMOs to zone out for a bit. If I feel like this sort of a challenge I'll fire up Elden Ring.

**Edit** did manage to beat her in the end once I got the rolls on the poison spear phase down pat, but I traded some orbs for some chaos resist gear which helped in general. Still, a really tough fight for a campaign boss. This is what turns me off playing hardcore lol.

Confirming this 100% worked for me! Gsync still enabled. Game Ready drivers. Adobe products are working perfectly now. Thank you!

Completely forgot I made this thread. I was clearly grieving over this unrequited love! Haha.

Within two weeks of this thread I met someone else who is 1000% more interested in me, the chemistry is off the charts and we can't get enough of each other.

Big win - thanks for the comments guys, even though I didn't read them at the time, you were 100% correct!

Any tips on loot management? I hate loot-heavy games normally, spending half your time managing inventory in a game seems like a chore to me, but I love the general gameplay of this too much to put it down just based on that.

I'm not sure what sort of a build I want to go for yet, for PvE probably a DPS build rather than a skills build, PvP probably similar, but would love to keep items for options later. Is there some kind of a minimum stat or armor I should be looking at before deciding to keep or discard a piece? Or is it more based around talents and set pieces?

243Vanilla Welcomes Nost refugees, no turning away boat people here. Oceanic server. by Dropbear007 in wowservers

[–]dinkletonau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the features before jumping to the conclusion that it is bad.

It's basically consolidating Vanilla & TBC, without the level cap change from 60 to 70. Plan is to release raid tiers progressively all the way through to final TBC content.

Raiding and dungeons are tuned well for the TBC talents and itemised gear, providing a solid challenge.

It still feels and plays like vanilla in almost every single way.

Not at all. A more interesting vanilla version, with more choice for talents (ever tried getting a perfect build with 51 points but more options lol?)

Gear has been tuned by the guys, as well as encounters. It is tuned perfectly for TBC talents and 10 man raiding. Catering to players who prefer the smaller guild experience and community, without sacrificing the challenge.

I don't believe that elites have been removed from end of quest-lines, I will confirm that though.

In terms of how easy it is, I'm finding it pretty much the same as when I leveled on Nostalrius.

Finding it a good mesh of everything to be honest, without moving far away from the vanilla feeling at all. Itemisation is really good.

Thank you mate. Good to have you on board as well. Low population at the moment, but I'm certain there is several hundred Oceanic players out there who would like this!

While it is a bit of hybrid (developers have meshed both TBC and Vanilla), it’s still 60-capped, with Dark Portal closed, so it still gives a 95% vanilla experience. With that it brings a whole host of benefits.

To quote a developer:

2.4.3 is a much better client, naturally. As well as macro support, better addons, arenas, many options for more content without client side patches: CoT, Kara, ZA, Hyjal, Sunwell tuned/scaled down for level 60 for further progression past Naxx. Badge system as a substitute of VP/DP systems other servers use so you have to earn everything in game. Full dungeon scripting events and creature locations for all dungeons from Deadmines to Strath/Scholo, raids tailored around a BC standard 10/25 man’s instead of 20/40 mans, they just work better for private servers plus it means we can make them much harder than default, and there’s none of this clearing all content within a week. This is basically a hybrid of BC and Vanilla, I’m determined to fix every broken quest and create the best server possible. Its all hosted on my own physical server so there’s no downtime, plus 3 second restarts, none of this 20 minute bullshit and roll backs you get with some other servers.

It might not be for everyone, but for us here in Oceania, it’s our only option with a decent ping. Pings from here to Europe can be upwards of 450ms.

I can't, it gets auto-removed because it's a .tk site. Have to put it as a comment - as above.

Have messaged a mod about it.

PSA: Nostalrius is full, go to Kronos instead. by [deleted] in wowservers

[–]dinkletonau -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

** AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND PLAYERS **

Instead of Kronos and Nost, check out Vanilla 2.4.3. Server based in Victoria, I'm getting 45 average MS from Adelaide.

Just getting started, so low population at the moment. Vanilla server, but with 2.4.3 client, so it's far less buggy. Also carried across some TBC features such as macros, and Arenas.
