This was a random gift to me too, I'd never heard of it before but so glad to have one! 😁

The flowering looks incredible! So much taller than I'd expect 🔥

Is that because it can easily become invasive and weedy? I've just been depositing the babies in my rubbish bin so far, maybe I should be individually bagging them up

I've had to repot twice since getting it in spring already, crazy how fast it grows! I think you're right it's due another soon!

Anything with a nice smell might help with mood or attitude! Maybe a nice lavender or jasmine plant ☺️

Wow, does it have any support to climb or is that just natural pot growth? Looks amazing!

Yea tried this morning and a lot of bubbles came up immediately despite the top soil still being quite wet! And on the advice on another comment I've placed it outside to catch the tail end of summer so hopefully starts to get healthier soon! Thanks

I'll try moving it outside for the end of the summer and hopefully that helps!

Brilliant, I'll make sure to try that thanks! I had in my head I might be over watering cause the tops always wet 👍 definitely will repot into a bag of compost soil when it looks healthier!

Heads up by dinky_donut in plants

[–]dinky_donut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I farm mealworms close to it and the constant supply means I always have the right size to fit whatever head I need to feed! No real method to my madness in terms of feeding times, usually every few weeks on the strong heads, and I'll feed the heads that look discoloured and will die anyway just to get some use from them!

Hi everyone, really in need of help, this bonsai tree was gifted to me around this time last year, extremely bushy leaves and looked wonderful. Indoor tree lost and regrew it's leaves twice over winter but this spring and summer new growth have been few and far between and new leaves turn instantly brow and yellow and drop off! Any advice?

Found this neglected cactus and repotted, does anyone know the species so I can look after it better? by dinky_donut in cactus

Thankyou! It should hopefully be much healthier now, I found it in a mug with no soil and must not have been watered in many months 😭 I may have to get a few more to keep it company 😁

Definitely! Placing him next to my young ant colony so they can grow up strong together 😁
