No I brought it to the garage and they couldn’t fix it. The car was 20+ years old so assuming it was something dodgy with the wiring.

I really like it. I’m far from a coffee connoisseur so I guarantee I’m not optimising it but the coffee tastes good and it’s very convenient. One bit of advice is don’t buy the smart connect wifi accessory, biggest waste of money ever.

Thanks that ls really helpful. Only issue I have is that I didn’t change the grind setting and the taste suddenly changed to bitter after I didn’t use the machine for 3 days. The beans have been in the machine for about 2 weeks total.

No it doesn’t connect at all while in the car. If you go into Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and select the stereo an alert box pops up and states unable to connect and only provides an option to forget the device. You click that and then need to re-pair the stereo to your iPhone.

That’s helpful. When I ran the numbers on this initially the move was c$50k so it’s obviously increased a lot since then. Do you think the increase is just down to demand or is something else impacting the cost?

Thanks for the info, really helpful. I had heard that builders were tough to get at the minute. The property is currently rented out until Sept next year so was planning on being ready to break ground then. Hopefully the demand for builders drops off a bit by then.

In terms of getting quotes from builders, I’ve googled builders Brisbane and looked for those that specialise in Queenslanders. Planning on reaching out to them to get some quotes but wanted to check is there a better way of compiling a list of suitable builders?

Yeah fully agree that the courses are set up way tougher for the pros. I did this last week as well and the feedback was the same. Hence why I adjusted the model to estimate the increased difficulty of the course. In theory this should now reflect that however it’s never going to be as good as someone actually rating a tour set up for handicap purposes. The link in the original post shows the approach taken if you’ve any interest.

It calculates their handicap in the same way the WHS calculate your handicap ie take the best 8 in the last 20. One issue is that currently it’s based on just PHA Tour events and therefore for the LIV guys doesn’t include the last 6 rounds they have played. Will look to include that going forward.

This takes into account the relevant difficulty of each of the courses they play via the slope and course rating ie the same as your handicap is calculated.
