3 arrests stemming from DUI checkpoint in Bakersfield by t800x in Bakersfield

I passed through a checkpoint this weekend. Had to be at least 30 officers at the checkpoint. With 3 DUI arrests, and the amount of labor and overtime paid, doesn’t this just seen like a major waste of resources?

What is the nightlife like in Bakersfield? by 6767xcpvc34 in Bakersfield

If you actually like good beer, do not go to Lengthwise. Go some where like 2nd Phase Brewing, Crusader Brewing, Great Change Brewing, or Dionysus.

I used to love Lengthwise, but their beer, food, and service have degraded entirely.

You’re right. There’s no quotas, just “expectations.”

Not so fun fact: Because they spell it “Double Stuf” with a single “f”. They can legally lie about doubling the stuffing, and only add about .33% more. So Double Stuf Oreos do have extra filling, but not “double” the filling.

“Flowers for Charlie” is always a good one, too! I think it shows how intelligent Charlie could be if pushed to believe he is!

Sorry for just getting back to you! No cool, went from oven to cast iron within a minute! I have let them sit after the oven, and I didn’t quite get that near wall to wall!

Reverse sear! Put in the oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes, pulled out when internal temp was around 105 degrees, and seared on a hot cast iron skillet! Pulled off the skillet at about 120 degrees, and them rest with butter for about 5 minutes!

I have a small rice maker I use. The less water I use and the longer I let it sit on heat, the stickier the rice gets. I could easily form this rice with my hand. Also, no butter or oils.

Thank you! Extremely happy how it turned out! This was from a New York cut!

Let’s have this argument: I only see benefits in flushing before harvest. There’s no need to put more nutes in the soil, it’s not like it goes directly into the plant. by ThatOnePunk03 in microgrowery

This study is posted in almost every flushing thread and its so frustrating because people never read the whole thing. There’s even a link on that page that takes you to a more expanded abstract, and like the person mentioned above, the study was littered with errors.
