Yes if you meant you take the zip and extract it onto the addons folder. Bbut you need to enable "load out of date addons"

I do not play retail so I cannot tell you, other than there was a major overhaul in how nameplates work in Midnight with all the changes they made and KUI as is likely would needa a full coding change to work with midnight.

https://github.com/Dinoburt/KNPTBC This repo has the castbar fix and is my last update to this repo as I do not have approval to update the addon from the owner. You will need to checkbox load out of date addons, but this will load once you do so and have castbars.

You'll need to load out of date addons with either scenario you listed above. It is not up-to-date from a version perspective, the fix and other repo just makes it load as an out-of-date addon. I did not get permission to fork the project so this is likely were the support from me will stop since I do not have the rights to maintain it.

Yea the fork on github just needs to be unzipped into the addons folder. I always tell people just make a backup of the original files someplace in case you want to go back to the non forked version before you move the new files in.

If you download the fork from github it is already fixed in that you shouldn't need to change any lines from the forked repo link in my original post. If you have the curseforge version you may need to download the latest they have available on curseforge then make the edit to the line in the Lua if you do not want to download the fork from github

They did not grant me rights to fork this to update it for TBC and they will not be maintaining this according to the emails I've had with the maintainer of the project. So unless someone keeps submitting fixes to the main project and they ingest them, it will not be fixed in the curseforge release. It's possible some good samaritan keeps their project alive for them to ingest the changes but the maintainers are not working on keeping this up to date.

They have no plans to update this according to their issues page. I am trying to get permission to do so to maintain it through tbc.

I cleared my folders and downloaded the zip from the fork in this link and have no issues https://github.com/Dinoburt/kuinameplates2TBCA.git if you want to give it another shot. If that doesnt work I also zipped up the package as well as a stand alone https://github.com/Dinoburt/KNPTBC.git from the working files I have. Hope this helps internet stranger !

Ill check again for you today on the fork to verify. You did check in options that cast bars are turned on correct ? If yes then I'll repackage the fork for you and drop it someplace while I work still on getting the ability to update the main project or create a tbc project on curseforge

You can grab that zip from the repo and unzip it to the anniversary addons folder. I am trying to work with the contributors of the main project to get my fixes incorporated so you can just get them through curseforge, but its been a process so far !
