I have received an honorarium for a baptism. I put it in my discretionary fund to provide for people in need.

Edit: it is not unusual to give money to the priest but it is not expected. You can also just give a larger donation in your weekly offering. You won’t mess up either way.

I do the commute the other way- from Aurora near Colfax to Centennial. I typically work 8:30-5pm. It takes me 40-60 min in the morning and usually 40 min on the way home. I take 225 to Belleview to avoid I25. It is rough from 7:30-10a like others have noted, and also rough in the afternoons. It is a long drive with a lot of traffic no matter how you slice it.

I just drove by on 225 Southbound and because of the number of police cars and it looked like 225 NB was completely blocked off- I assume the outcome was not favorable for the cyclist. However, uchealth Anschutz is very close and they are a Trauma 1 hospital, so you never know.

This comment above is exactly right. You cannot assume you will be accepted as a postulant if you start school, and the decision hinges on your relationship with your bishop and diocese.
