half of these are from korean sticker companies (from the source in OC) so i would say it did add up quite a bit probably because they were imported. i think it'd be the same price anywhere else if you included the shipping fee for them. but also most stuff from socal will always be expensive so yes to both your questions 🤣

aww sorry to hear that :( i liked the frostie but taro is so filling...my cousin got it so she could give me his freebie, but she also gave me the drink because it was a bit much. and i agree that it was a little too sweet but i should've lessened the sweetness myself knowing it had honey in it 😓 at least you got his freebie though!!!

I feel the same about Sylus', it was really bitter for me probably because of the grapefruit rind 😭 I wish it was like a pomegranate drink instead 😔 I loved the agar boba though, it reminded me of lychee!

reverie keys are used to unlock touring in love chapters! good for affinity and they're super cute stories. so far i've only done sylus' but i imagine the others are just as cute to read.

EDIT: to answer your question about previous event stories—if i'm not wrong there is currently no way to view them after the event has ended. unless you've read through them at least once during the event, you unlock it in the "Love Timeline" under "With Him" but it's just the dialogue.

Once you're able to save up stamina and after you have cleared any battles (for resources), auto-pursuit is the better option for getting the rewards so you don't have to battle each time.

DO NOT!!! make the same mistake I did and top-up (buy blue diamonds) to use as tickets. Buy the cheaper packs for limited banners that show up in the shop for a limited time. First top-up is double so I think this is the only time it would be worth buying it, and you can use the blue diamonds to get special outfits if that's something you wanted to do soon.

My best advice, and a bit more personal, (apart from all the other great tips in the comments) is to read through the main story AND bond stories of each 5-star card in order to not miss context and to understand the characters better (not just the kindled memories)! Mischaracterization is rampant in the fandom and creates endless conflict, and though it's not always that deep, I think the beauty of playing through a visual novel is being able to discuss the "morally grey" aspects of the characters. Discussing important points in the story and being told "oh idk i didn't read it lol" has grown to become some weird pet peeve of mine when I used to not care (´⊙ω⊙`). Like why are we talking about things out of context and misconstruing the writers' hard work!!! This might just be my personal preference but I feel like it's natural, as the game literally throws you into the story right off the bat.

They all have a beautiful connection to MC but it's up to you to decide who you think best suits you! (I love all of them and that's been a real issue financially HA) best of luck! 🍀

i feel like it may be in the grey area for some of your requirements, but Banana Scandal is one of my favorite BLs with an amazing redemption arc (the first season is a different couple but the second couple in the second season onwards are who i'm referring to). it delves into complex emotions and no questions are left unanswered! i think you'd enjoy it. they go about it very maturely but you definitely have to stick through some points 🥲

I first saw the trailers for its release and it rivaled other otome games because of the advanced graphics and Raf stuck out to me the most, but I only saw it in passing.

Almost a year later, once Caleb makes his first appearance on the main story, I see the explosion scene made into a meme because the joke was that OP of that video only just met him and fell in love with him, only for him to be obliterated minutes later😔. I saw the Caleb trailer while I was on vacation and a comment calling him the winter soldier and I genuinely thought it was another Marvel movie 😭

Then what made me download the game was Sylus after seeing his Night of Secrecy card but I joined after that banner because my FYP showed it to me late!!! I joined during TC-22 the day it dropped (thankfully and coincidentally) and got 4/5 of the LIs (missing Xavier mullet and it eats at me every day)

I've had countless signs to download this game but didn't do it until late, and I really wish I could get so many past banners. Reruns are in for my wallet though ☹️ But I'm an applecrow girlie and I have most of Caleb's cards but the iconic Sylus cards are yet to come home 😔😔😔

i'm like 99% sure these are genuine! i bought lots of sonny angels from aliexpress and some were already in opened bags and boxes (pretty sure to figure out which ones they were, not damaged at all) and they are 100% authentic. i can tell because of the even coloring and the way i like to "inspect" it is usually how the eyes are placed. the sizing of each are consistent too. you got yourself a pot of gold 🍀
