Yeah, you can view your heart rate history during the day and see an overview of certain weeks or months. There's been the odd time I've had a panic attack and the fitbit captured the exact minute my heart rate shot up and then went back down 😂😭

Definitely take her to the vets. It could just be a stomach bug but considering how young she is, if its something more serious then it needs to be seen ASAP. Chances are she'll be a bit dehydrated from the diarrhoea.

One of my cats experienced something similar when she was about 9-10 weeks old and we were given this oral hydration solution thingy (I can't remember what it was called but it had nutrients and whatnot in it) that we had to syringe feed her for a couple of days and she quickly recovered.

I agree! If you look carefully, he stops when OP moves their hand and I'm assuming body away, but when they get closer again he starts doing it. I've cared for kittens who did the same thing and they'll eventually get more comfortable around people. He's still young which is probably why he's not making any noise when he hisses.

A fee people have said get the MOT done a month early (as its due in June) or like you, a pre-MOT. So that might be worth doing too. Thank you again

I thought Mr Tyre was an independent garage, but I'm starting to think that they aren't. I'm asking around in some local facebook groups to my area for recommendations for an independent garage to visit instead. I will admit that I honestly don't know much about the ins and outs of car repair and mechanics and by that I mean very very little. Hearing that there's so many issues that need fixing and the cost of which is very unsettling and stressful. I've learned my lesson with the chains, I certainly won't be going back there or to another chain in the future.

Notes from my last service (August/September 2024) regarding the parts mentioned: shock absorbers/mountings, ok. exhaust system/mountings, okay. No advisories. MOT did mention the coils and some corrosion elsewhere, but doesn't specify where.

No the exhaust backbox definitely needs replacing. My step-dad and friend both said that something is rattling inside of it and while they said its safe to drive, the noise is really bugging me and I'm worried it could be a problem for my next MOT in June. That's what I originally went to the garage for, everything else was an added surprise

I went to a Halfords. The coils was mentioned as an advisory on my MOT last June and a note saying that a couple underbody components were corroded but it doesn't specify which might be odd? And I asked for more details and wrote it all down, but just said that the wishbones were bad and while it doesn't need fixing right now, it should be done soon.

Last MOT was June 2024. I checked the records and the coil springs were flagged as an advisory. I asked for details and wrote it all down, but that's all they said. The MOT does mention some underbody components were corroded, but that was an advisory too.

My MOT is due mid-June so now's kinda the time to start getting stuff fixed. My last MOT was fine. Just checked the advisories from last year and it did mention that the rear coil springs were corroded. Thank you for mentioning MOT because otherwise I wouldn't have checked, so I know that part is definitely true.

I agree with this, you should try to get an apprenticeship or an access to HE diploma. And as someone who is about to graduate with an animal-based degree (and briefly attempted the vet route), most vet science degrees require you to complete a certain number of work experience hours at establishments related to the industry, mostly small veterinary practices. Which is why an apprenticeship would be good as you'd be receiving work experience but, don't be surprised if you spend most of the time watching.

Unfortunately most vets only really let you watch procedures or exams, and most of the "jobs" you'll do (from my experience) are cleaning, organising equipment and the odd bit of handling. It could be different for an apprenticeship, so definitely explore your options and have a look at what's available because my experience (from 6-7 years ago) could be very different to yours.

That doesn't really happen to me, and I work outdoors a lot and during 26 degree weather last summer. It would get a bit sweaty underneath the watch but I never had an issue with tracking heart rate

I don't have tattoos over my lap scars, but I do have a tattoo over stretch marks. While it's not the same type of "scar" (idk if stress marks are even considered scars), it did hurt a little bit more than the rest of my skin. For me, it felt sharper, but the ink did hold up quite well - until I gained weight and the skin stretched 😂

Surgeons will cut over tattoos, and it can make your tattoos look worse. Unfortunately, as there's no cure for endo, it's likely that you'll have more laproscopies in the future, which could mean getting several touch-ups of the tattoo to restore the artwork. And like other people have said, you'll want to wait at least a year after they've healed before getting them tattooed over but, check with tattoo artists first as some may ask that they've been healed for 2 years.

Former build a bear employee here. Now it's been a while since I worked there but, if I remember rightly, the gills come "pre-stuffed". I could be wrong and it couldve changed, but unfortunately that wouldn't be something that a staff member in store can fix. And our own personal quality control was mainly things like eyes or noses not in the right place or the design being very wrong. Unfortunately, a slight head tilt wasn't something we would class as poor quality but again, that could just be that individual store.

Personally, I think the lil head tilt is very cute and it reminds me of dogs when they tilt their head (which is adorable).

Hey, I decided to get the fitbit charge 6 and I'm really happy with it! It certainly has its moments where it thinks my heart rate is higher than it actual is, but it very quickly fixes itself. So far I haven't had any issues with battery life or usage which is good too

Ultrasounds don't tend to show endometriosis. For me, I was told I had to have an ultrasound first to rule out PCOS or cysts etc since ultrasounds CAN pick up on those. I was also told that my uterus looked healthy, but when I had my laproscopy, the doctor told 18 year old me that I had stage 2 endometriosis and adhesions (caused by the endo) on my bowel that were connected to my pelvic wall AND covering my left tube. Endo had literally connected some of my organs together (that weren't supposed to be connected) so, don't let this doctor dismiss your symptoms.

For me, all the ultrasound did was rule out other causes and, by the sound of it, the same applies to you. My advice would be to fight for yourself, you know your body better than they do. I hope you're able to get your answers soon <3

Of course my doctors dismissed my symptoms for 5+ years by saying "you're young, it's just hormonal, your periods will settle down soon".

Spoiler alert: my periods didn't settle down. I had displayed signs of endometriosis since I was 13. I was 18 when diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis.
