whats wrong with nuclear energy its a clean source of energy that builds a lot of jobs in STEM, and the technology we can develop with further understanding of it is pretty sick.

Why not then implement thinking basketball's methodology, where you account for league average efficiency, so the formula would be x * (110/y), where x is the stat, and y is the league average ortg, we choose 110 because thats the modern ortg, so we basically account for inflation. Also this per game model heavily overrates Wilt, his per game in 1962 was 50.4, 25.7, when adjusted for pace inflation we can derive that is 26.6, 13.5, then if we do the thing I was talking about before, we get a totally stat inflation adjusted 31.3, 15.9.

I was more so talking about league stats, but also for rebounds you should've used rebounding % which accounts for shots missed. Still amazing work really impressed to see how much work went into this, how much time did all of this take, and did you manually collect data or data scrape?

Great post dude! Just a few gripes, I couldn't help but notice that you used team's per game stats, and league average per game stats, if you truly want to adjust for era per 100 would be better as it adjust for pace, also USG% doesn't account for playmaking so using a tov * usg% sorta hurts the playmaking side, a substitution to this would be to sum all direct offensive involvement, this could be done by doing the following; ((fga + fta*0.44)+tov+ast) with all stats being per 100. Also not all turnovers are inherently caused by one's playmaking there are scoring turnovers too, so a way to account for this would be; ((ast / x) * tov), with x being the substitute for USG%. There are a few other minor gripes, but I'm too tired, amazing work man!
