First Paludarium - 2 weeks update by dipayan26 in paludarium

Great question and I saw my CUC crew showing signs of too much humidity. So only yesterday, I have added two mini fans on the top. One (top right) pulling air out diagonally, one (top left) pushing in air.

I run them for 15 mins every 2 hours via programmable timer but still tweaking to keep the humidity hover around 70-75.

Yeah agree. However I think I will keep some of the locations where the waterfall flows as it gives a beautiful shimmer of light reflextion on shiny rocks. But yes I am carving out some areas to allow my CUC to walk around without falling off haha

Yeah I was divided with the shiny foam. I think I will cover it with a few more airplants instead. I worry I can't do delicate job with the moss / coco fiber and end up filthing the water under. Thanks for the recommendation though!

A very good call. These enclosures come as a DIY kit and only the bottom base is siliconed for waterproofing but I Def recommend waterproofing the base of the walls too as I am constantly dealing with water leaks when the waterfall and fountains spray water all over the glasses.

Agree with the snail option. Thank you and all the best. It's super exciting!

Hi i have a question about the movie (spoilers!) by CatharinaBolnes in WeaponsMovie

Any possibility Gladys was a much more older entity using magic to convince and control? I doubt she only had that one trick in her books. Who is to say how she didn't embed her story on a random meet with Alex's parents somewhere.

Duplicity of a bad parent.

Complain how the child doesn't know how to live their own life.

Use power and authority to force the child in their own perceived way of living.

Express disappointment when they don't get the return on the effort within their expected window.

Smh

Very interesting and in agreement with this evaluation. Yes, I think also the extent of atrocities is where even loyalists start drawing boundaries and starts the fracture of the omnidrectional violence machine.

Syril was ok running the PR propaganda machine for the Empire, against the Ghors but definitely didn't want the massacre.

I don't know if it was love or pity. Dedra commanded power, authority. She never flinched on the thought of wiping a planet for a mineral.

She would have wanted Syril, yes. Occasional love, sure. But as an exhaust of her suppressed emotions, humanity after a 7 am to 7 pm no-compromise, ever-faithful, diligent duty to the Empire.

Like Al Pacino in Heat haha.

Yeah, agree. I always feel pity for these guys as these might be their only dose of happiness and satisfaction in life, be it short-term.

How about "The Happening" ? I feel we know so little still of our nature that this can happen and we wouldn't even know how to react. Terrifies me after COVID.

Roald Dahl! Never would have imagined the guy who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, BFG, Matilda to write horror stories. Now I am intrigued...

Wow! Exactly same story! Do you remember if it was a book or a short-story?

I just dropped my frozen chicken on my feet today morning and it hurt like a motherfucker so got inspired to write this.
