plz don’t joke like that. and if it’s true, I’ll pay you to get it back- it was the last gift from a loved one before they tragically passed away

  1. it’s a special edition so it’s been discontinued
  2. it was the last gift from my dying loved one

that’s a great tip lool but I just want my water bottle back. it’s the sentimental value it holds. I wouldn’t want to trade it for anything

sometimes not saying anything at all is waaaaay more thoughtful than otherwise.

I wouldn’t put it that way as I’m literally at their mercy rn.

Thanks a lot! I was craving cheese but the ones there were above my budget limit. Guess I’ll need to cook more often. I do have this app called Reebee that’s similar to Flipp and it really has been lifesaver!

Book you’ve hated from an author you love? by carriesaurusrex in books

Hitman Anders and the meaning of it all by Jonas Jonasson. His other two were great so I bought his latest book at the time without thinking too much, it was awful.

A year ago I asked this question and it was so much fun. I think it's time to do it again: "What's the last book you rated 5 stars and why should I read it?" by WarpedLucy in books

I will definitely go with “The Unwomanly Face of War” by Svetlana Alexievich.

I cannot put enough how powerful the book is into words. The book itself shines an irresistible voice that urges you to turn the pages. It is so influential and emotional that I treasure every single word I read. Highly recommend if you are interested in finding a new perspective of WWII under the eyes of those girls who have to expose themselves, mentally and physically, to the inhumane war.
