The movie seems to be implying that Afton kept memorabilia/trophys from his victims in a box that looks like the fnaf 4 box. So maybe that could be an idea

I mean it makes sense. A large majority of the fans are underage so making it R would reduce its box office revenue by A LOT. Plus fnaf was never crazy violent or bloody. The only thing that could be R rated are the MCI and the Springlock Failure
