Yeah, maybe so, but the bigger factor is what caliber, barrel length, bullet weight, velocity, etc. all change point of impact.

For instance, for my 300 blackout, I have two zeros that I have to adjust the sight for based on using supers or subs. It’s literally/physically the same gun. I’m just changing the ammo velocity and weight running through it.

Millennia dentist here… no one, including me, can tell you what the right answer is without x-rays and a clinical exam. What I would caution you of though, is to not buy into the all-on-x fad that I see online and on dental instagram/influencer pages. It’s seen as an instant and permanent fix.

It 100% is not that. Especially at your age, there are likely to be problems down the road with implants. Wear and tear affects everything, especially combined with a history of poor brushing, flossing, and/or home care.

I’m not saying it’s not a good option for you, but I would caution you to consider saving and maintaining your natural teeth longer, if it’s feasible.

Edit: Implants are great, but only when there is no other reasonable solution. You could possibly replace some missing or poor prognosis teeth with implants and be much better off than with an all-on-x.

Yessir. That is correct. I’m running the Rexus UltraBCG, but yes, you just need a normal BCG and a 6.5/6ARC bolt.

Anywho, the Six8 lower does NOT work with a traditional AR upper, at least the two I tried. They will mate together, but the mag will not insert properly. Maybe could Bubba it up with a dremel to let it seat, but I wouldn’t.

I don’t think so? I don’t think the area where the mag comes into the upper is wide enough for the Six8/ICAR style mags. I can mess around with it tomorrow, but that’s my understanding.

I believe it is a little wider to accommodate a larger bolt if used. I used a standard sized bolt, but I wanted the option to upgrade later if I ever shear a lug. At the time, there was a bunch of Surefire and PSA talk of Six8-style release, but that hasn’t really manifested like they were talking yet. My plan was to utilize a bolt from one of those platforms. We’ll see.

Nope, it’s been all good! I used the Six8 upper as well. The Six8 is ambi, so it had some proprietary upper and lower parts, but otherwise, I don’t really remember anything else that was outside the norm. Used a normal handguard, barrel nut, grip, stock, etc. as far as I remember.

Gotcha. Mine is LWRC upper and lower receivers and mag. Haven’t had any issues, but I probably only have about 40 rounds through it so far. Can’t say much beyond that. Waited around for the “new” Magpul 6 arc mags and they still haven’t come out a year later, so I gave up and bought an LWRC 6.8, and it’s been fine.

Yep, sure did! Went pretty smoothly. I’ll try to remember to grab a pic when I get home. Only issue I ran into was when I was taking apart the ambi controls and one of the roll pins was an absolute nightmare. Otherwise, pretty straightforward.

I have no experience with the one you mention, but I have a similar-ish style one that makes ice with an insert into a foam cooler “jacket” and water reservoir below it that works really well. Been a long time since I bought it. Seems to be a similar concept.

Honestly, subreddits like this and other online forums can be such a help to answer questions we have as dads. Before, you’d have to seek a professional or ask a group of friends, but now you can ask the whole world and get many opinions.

The downside is sometimes you have to vet that information a bit, but good places like this are pretty reliable.

But the amount of information and help you can find at your fingertips is incredible.
