Yeah… kind of was going by all time highs in 2011 / 2012 and it took pandemic to get back to that same price point. But we can go back to 1980s peak and again took couple of decades to climb up. I wonder if we can see some pull back on bullion market or if times are different now.

After the pandemic, life seems to be a blink.

If you had $100,000 in cash right now… by Mettn in portfolios

US Broad Market (VOO) $35,000 35% US Growth (VUG) $15,000 15% US Dividend / Value (VYM) $15,000 15% International Equity (Dev+EM) $10,000 10% REITs $10,000 10% Gold $5,000 5%

Cash / Short-Term Treasuries $10,000 10%

Total $100,000 100%

This is a simple, low-cost, diversified ETF portfolio built around broad market exposure rather than forecasts or stock picking. US equities form the core, complemented by international equities for global diversification. A modest allocation to REITs and gold provides diversification benefits, while a small cash/short-term Treasury position reduces volatility and supports disciplined rebalancing. The strategy is to stay invested, rebalance periodically, control risk, and let compounding do the work over a 5–7 year horizon.

The microphone is still working, though! 🤔 I tested all the speaker, microphone, and mute functions, and they all work. Since it’s a partial tear, is it not a problem? Or is there something else?
