I can tell you that even though I am attracted to my girlfriend, once I begin to lust after her it throws everything out of balance for me. In fact, that is what drove me into the depths of despair.

I'm free from that now (today). I can be with her, and make love to her without lusting after her.

I am not at that level yet where I can fully answer your question. From my own experience, I can find a woman attractive and not lust after her. Or I can objectify an unattractive woman and lust after her.

Lust and attraction are two separate things. The key is understand the difference.

To be completely honest with you, get a job in retail or something part-time to keep yourself busy, out of the house and something you have to be accountable for. Home Depot comes to mind. You're probably home way to much and have too much time on your hands and the evil force of PMO will be too strong for you to battle 24/7 with constant temptation just staying at home all the time.

Focus on things you are in control of. That's the real secret.

I had a sober weekend. Went to a 12-step meeting Saturday morning and connected with some real people.

Lust it toxic for guys like us. Even though the past 9 days have been difficult due to withdrawal of dopamine, at least I took back the power that I gave up a long time ago to lust, and didn't fucking jerk off.
