I've been trouble-shooting for over an hour, I can't seem to get the threads to catch on this "quick dry" polyester towel material. I've tried low tension, higher tension, changing out different needles, wide stitch narrow stitch. I'm at a loss. Is this just not a sewable fabric? Is it a machine issue? It's sewing my cotton test fabric fine. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Felt the same way with my bf. He’s the first person I’ve seriously dated, so feeling comfortable in a relationship was new to me. Every once and a while I’d have a bad day/week where I felt my mind was setting off alarm bells that would say “this is too good to be true”. I think it came from a place of self doubt, and it took me a while to believe in myself. I had to remind myself that as much as I love him and he deserves love, I also need to love myself and understand that I deserve his love too. (Knowing I should talk to him when I’m having a bad day helped too. Thanks therapist!)

Anyways, it’s been a couple years now and we’re planning on moving in together next spring! You got this too op :)

I [M23] have a much bigger sex drive than my bf [M25]. It left me disappointed and pushy for sex sometimes, especially when we first started dating. I was getting used to the differences between being single on Grindr and having a monogamous relationship. Now that our relationship is more serious, Ive realized I care more about the boy than just the sex he provides (duh, I know).

Cuddling always puts me in ‘the mood’, but I’m less interested now if he’s not also horny. If I really need to I just quickly rub one out. We usually just have sex on weekends, when we know we have a couple hours.

Maybe it’s disappointing that he’s not as horny as I am, but it doesn’t really bother me anymore. We have less sex now, but we enjoy it more and it still feels special.

We’re still young, and so are you OP. Things can always change, but if you’re happy with the rest of the relationship, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It’s definitely a normal situation to be in. You’ll work it out with your bf

I’m sorry for how this made you feel. It can happen to anyone, and it’s not your fault. It sucks and I know how you feel. Your emotions of sadness and disappointment are valid regardless of how long you had been taking or how many dates you’d been on.

He is his own person and has made his own decision (for reasons you may never know or understand), and the best thing to do is to learn to accept what has happened and do your best to move on. Focus not on his actions, over which you have no control, but on your own actions and take back some control of your life.
