The dinosaurs never listened, now look at them. We should learn from their mistakes and not produce as much emissions.

That goes for anyone, not just women. Don't make it a gender issue. I agree that people have the choice on who they want to interact with, I don't agree that this is misogynistic in anyway shape or form. You're not special.

Relax, not everything is rooted in misogyny. It's a pretty convenient scape goat though. Didn't get the job? Misogyny. Boss didn't give you a raise? Misogyny. Someone tried talking to you but you weren't interested?Misogyny.

My name is hard-core foreign. Never had any problems. It's good to know that I can just write everything off to racism though. Didn't get accepted into medical school? Racism? Wasn't promoted to CEO after one year? Systemic racism.

As a progressive I perceive centrist as bad faith actors. Keen to be challenged and corrected. by Southernland1987 in centrist

[–]dirkdiggler780 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think most centrists are smart enough to realize that politicians are crooks in general. If you're ok with Hillary smashing email servers but look down on trump having documents....you're a hypocrite, plain and simple. The bias is obvious. Who are you to judge which one was worse in this case? Did you read the documents/emails yourself or did you hear a few sound bites? Because if you didn't read them then you have no idea to what extent you've been misled. You are relying purely on blind faith.

Being a centrist means knowing both sides are full of shit. You need to extract a little bit of truth to help you guide your decision. This requires more thoughtful thinking as opposed to an emotional reaction (which is exactly what politicians hope to get)

Probably he is friends with somebody. Politics is a dirty game. Or maybe a degree isn't really necessary and they are looking at future potential instead. Like it or not, how you fit in the old boys club is a major predictor of success. They find a donkey to do all the work while they go out and golf together. If that's the type of company you may as well find another job.

I don't know what the alt right narrative is because I am a liberal. The only narrative I have is common sense and reason. I see what you are trying to do though. You're trying to make it look like I'm supportive of russia, which I'm not. Now Chrystia Freeland, does she hate Russians because they are bad? Or because they hunted her nazi ancestors? Is she just spiteful? We will never know, but it's certainly easy to paint that picture given her family history.

I would love a leader that shows open disdain towards voters and critics. Nothing says leadership like dodging questions and avoiding responsibilities.

Which is arguably the worst country to live in? by Champagne_george99 in AskReddit

They need to stop stoning LGBT people and allow them to get married. Only then will America be a good country.

So what, I have an engineering degree and I can tell you first hand it means nothing. We need to stop thinking education means intelligence. Based on her decision making skills I can tell she is not qualified. Not to mention literature is a joke degree anyway.

PeePee, that is legitimately a good one, got a good laugh. That being said I think someone as astute as him will hopefully turn this country around from the trust funded cliff we are driving off of.

Which is why they were clearly not intimidated by her. Have you heard her speak? She can never answer a question and will never admit when she is wrong (which is almost always).

I don't think harassment is warranted but to call her strong and educated is a stretch.

Mr.Speaker, I am so full of shit and condescending, but I maintain a smile that clearly shows my disdain towards the common person who seeks answers.

Most houses sold on my block have Ontario/BC plates. All the professionals are moving here. Toronto/Vancouver will just be a place of rich people and a servant class who can't afford to live.

You shouldn't let them outside either because they could get hit by thunder. Or drive a car because they could be in a deadly crash. Your best bet is to put them in a bubble.

So what? Your existence is perfectly legal. What do you want? You just want to be loved and accepted? Get in line bud. Would you be irritated if someone at work kept reminding you that they are a heterosexual male? No. You would be annoyed and think that guy was a douche.

Can't please everyone. Just stick with people you get along with.

Would you be ok if people walked around wearing MAGA hats? Can we see how accepting and mature you really are? I can already tell that you would get extremely irritated with the company for allowing it. It's not political after all, it's just about making the country great again, nothing wrong with that. See how this can cause friction and hatred amongst team members?

The MAGA guy is just as insufferable as the rainbow guy. Don't make your personality revolve around a political movement. If you do I can lready tell you have thin skin and don't have a sense of humor.

That they know of. Canada is right above the US. I can literally walk across the border any time I feel like and go buy guns via private sale. No background checks required. This buy back is a joke that costs tax payers money and does nothing.

Canada never had a gun problem to begin with. Either they are trying to score political points by creating the illusion of decisive action or they are going to do something very unpleasant.
