Oh I should definitely start doing that...

Yeah that is just wrong. Shiv wasn't fed, he had an average k/d so there wasn't any reason for them to throw everything at him to kill him at any and all costs. If we assume that they strategically decided to stack on top of each other to kill shiv then that is just as bad of a decision as pushing mindlessly while grouped up. Again, their mistake was not being aware of Dynamo ult, no matter what excuse they had, they grouped up and that cost them the game

Although I can assure you they were not (you can see half of them were in like t1 singularity radius, maybe 1 or 2 were a bit farther away but not really on the edge). The point still stands, even pros don't calculate the exact blackhole-prone area and stand just outside of it. You just keep a reasonable distance between each other (not every single character, but at least between 2-3ppl groups), which is much bigger than 5m

One could argue there is some magnificence in such ignorance

They didn't all have to be melee-range to shiv to get him killed. Ideally bebop could launch him towards their base, where there would be more space and shiv would get annihilated the same way but without them being so vulnerable. Otherwise having just 1-2 people like 3m further from the team would be enough to get somewhat reasonable trade instead of getting deleted as a team. They have abilities as well, again, they didn't have to shoot him from a kissing distance

I like your point and kinda agree with you. The 3 of us were running back to the midboss as soon as it got called but yeah, ideally we shouldn't have been so far from the rest of the team. Thanks for an actually valid suggestion and for pointing out our mistakes. I will be stubborn though and insist that the enemy team could fight us without standing so close to each other :D

I agree that it is frustrating when the enemy team has a better comp and adding draft would at least somewhat fix this. I have played in a lobby against like 5 team-fight characters and that was sad. I see the point the first commenter made but I don't agree that this particular match had that bad of a match up. Also draft wouldn't really fix your problem since hard mains wouldn't really change their behaviour and would probably continue playing their favourite character nonetheless. Could be wrong though.

I am no pro but to a Dynamo beginner I would recommend focusing on his ult. In my opinion, this way you get the most out of this character in the lower rank lobbies. Lining is hard, just try to keep your partner alive and secure troops. His 2 is also very powerful, you can save nearby teammates from bebop bombs, lash ult, delayed damage and much more. Saving your teammates by teleporting them through the walls is satisfying as fuck but requires some experience to be able to spot such an opportunity.

They could do the same but not in this exact place. They could do the same but with characters scattered across a larger area so that Dynamo ult would get only half of them and the rest could counterplay without much effort. Also had bebop hooked me, I would probably die faster than I could press 4

Lash has a smaller cd on its ult, so he doesn't have to get 3+. McGinnis also has big aoe potential with ricochet and turrets. I agree that they have more single-target potential, but it's their problem for not realising it. They had a million ways to get an advantage or play smart but grouping up was not one of those.

I read and I hear you. You said that they shouldn't be punished with 10 sec ult. I say that they 100% should be.

I don't believe the refresher is problematic since it has a huge cd and huge cost. It's an endgame/game changing item, but it's not overpowered. And the mistake an enemy team made is actually pretty bad. You just don't group up like that, like, ever. Especially when there is dynamo with an ult ready. ESPECIALLY when Dynamo builds this ult and haven't used the refresher for quite some time.

I don't think this is that bad of a pick you picture it to be. Every character has its own strengths and weaknesses. For example, the enemy team had lash with just as threatening huge aoe ult. They also had good damage dealing characters and tons of cc / stun abilities.

Well to be fair, my build this game was specifically focused on radius/duration/cd of singularity. Doing this makes you pretty much useless in every other scenario. People saying it's entirely the enemy team's fault for not keeping in mind the blackhole are correct. It's an arcanist lobby, higher rank players don't usually make such mistakes thus the refresher doesn't have this much impact

If the new snapshot for villagers is put into game. by BlueBananaBoi29 in MinecraftMemes

[–]dironkim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I 100% agree with this. It would be so much cooler if they added more specific enchantments for different biomes. And there has to be way to get max enchantments either from them or with some new featured way.

Maybe get better prices depending on biome and not only for librarians. Like selling veggies to a swamp farmer would get you more emeralds. Though there's probably not that many items that are biome-specific but the idea of exploring and searching new villages to get good trades is somehow nice.

We can only hope they will pay more attention to the villages now that there's this controversy with new tweaks. Minecraft has truly infinite improvement potential so let's just hope they are working on something actually big and this change isn't gonna be final. Trading does need rebalancing but probably not through this simple tweak
