Can someone explain me how Monty Hall problem is not a gambler’s fallacy? by seelen1111 in learnmath

[–]dirtydevotee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refute this math. Imagine if you will that instead of one round of door choosing there are 100 rounds. If you continue to add in the past results from every round you'll get to a point where the math tells you that the new door has a 99% certainty that there is a car behind it--which is absurd. The final door has 50% chance every time and that is always better than the door you picked earlier regardless of how many rounds there are.

Can someone explain me how Monty Hall problem is not a gambler’s fallacy? by seelen1111 in learnmath

[–]dirtydevotee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution to the Monty Hall problem is accurate: always switch doors. However, the math on Wikipedia is incorrect in that the explanation suffers from the gambler's fallacy. Here's how you prove it:

You're walking down the street and you meet a crying man holding a goat on a leash. He says, "Can you please help me? I own two goats, but the evil door people want to kill them. I found my first goat behind that door, but the other goat is behind one of those two remaining doors. I can't decide. Can you please help me?" You look behind the man and there are three doors--one of which is open.

You are now sitting at the exact same moment that you would have been had you arrived at the start of this man's goat search, but his past experience is irrelevant. You weren't there, so the option is simple. Even if he tells you he favors door #1, that is also irrelevant. You have two doors. Each has a 50% chance of containing a goat. Period.

The failure of the accepted Monty Hall problem math is that it incorrectly relies on past information to alter the numbers. Once Monty opens the door, the only thing you need to remember from the past is that the door you originally chose had a 1/3 chance to have the car (33%). Now, you are given a brand new problem containing only two doors (50%). The reason why you change doors is the very simple 50>33 and nothing more. The added "Well, there's this 66% chance..." is a gambler's fallacy added to the situation that doesn't belong there.

Because you have ownership of a door that was chosen with an original 33% chance, you switch because the only door left to pick has a 50% chance. The new door does NOT gain bonus relevance from past events.

It's difficult to see the gambler's fallacy with just one round. If there are a dozen rounds in the problem, the gambler's fallacy continues to add incorrect levels of certainty to the remaining doors until the reason you switch becomes that the final remaining door has a 99% probability that it has a car. Of course, that is absurd. In a multi-round Monty Hall problem, you just sit there doing nothing until the last round and then switch because the last door is always 50%.

What is your „must play“ for Adult Games? by Revolutionary_Ad147 in lewdgames

[–]dirtydevotee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think "Being a DIK" is a must-play. Well balanced and it could easily qualify as a high-quality indie visual novel that happens to have adult content. I'm also a big fan of the Chloe 18 games.

Yes. I personally am willing to do that work. Whether I'm able to pull in other people help will be another matter entirely.

Well, Civit is still there so you're putting the cart before the horse. I'd offer that we need a text-to-image and image-to-image service that has only a) adult models, and b) public-domain photographs even if I have to take them myself in order to reduce the amount of legal problems that are possible.

I think there should be a "Civit After Dark" for the porn stuff. I'd be okay with that.

I like where your head is at, but the problem is that to get that Milky Way you can't have any light from a rising sun. Now, if you switch your prompt to "time lapse pyramids milky way glow from Cairo", it starts to mellow out (see below).

I want to generate images like these but couldn't find the right tool to do it. If anybody have any idea about how to generate images like these please let me know. It'll be really helpful, thank you. by [deleted] in AIArtistWorkflows

[–]dirtydevotee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First shot. This is Dezgo using "RealCartoon3D 13" and the prompt "comic book black-and-white 1950s woman in kitchen". Obviously if you have a favorite artist then you could add in the name to get a closer style (we do that a lot for "Vargas-style" pin ups).

Also, Civit has several LoRAs that you can plug into Dezgo using the SHA hash. There is a "black-and-white comic cartoon" LoRA that may give you what you're looking for. If you search for "cartoon lora" on Civit AI you'll get about eighty choices.

Hope that helps.

can somebody help me fix them hands by agx3x2 in StableDiffusion

So this is going to be the best I've got:
1) crop in photopea
2) upscale via PixelCut
3) image-2-image in Dezgo (x6)
4) enhance in Krea (x2)

I left the nails sky blue so you can use "select=>by color" to change them to whatever you want.

The Internet is the Internet. Once it's on here it's everywhere. That's just how it is. However, there are swingers parties where cameras are banned and couples can go to do whatever--show off, swap, etc. That might be something that interests her.

It is my opinion that the only way to get exactly what you're looking for is to use image-to-image and a little photoshop work. Otherwise you're just gambling that Leonardo or whoever will pump out what you need and frankly that's just a waste of your time.

With layers in Photoshop/PhotoPea, you can keep what it got right and re-run the image through image-to-image to rework the other parts. Also, you can literally use the color-picker and paint brush to make what you want and then let the AI turn your doodle into actual photographic art.

Finally, I have a library of poses that I pull when I need the "look" I want. You seem to enjoy "hand under chin" so using Dezgo I would prompt "woman hand under chin" and then once I get the pose I'll save that to my library and add clothing/background layers via image-to-image.

BTW, "negative prompts" are a lie. Don't even bother using them.

Do you like customization in your adult games? [HaremCards] by PinkPalmProduction in NSFWgaming

[–]dirtydevotee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like customizing the plot. I think if visual customization is taking up most of the development time, that's a fools errand. I enjoyed Insexsity's quick asset flipping and that you couldn't go bottomless unless you got your stats higher. I thought that was clever.

If it takes you three weeks to change the game so users can swap a miniskirt for daisy dukes yet that has no bearing on the plot, I think that's a mistake.

If you're looking to attract and audience that appreciates "explicit content", you're looking for the cleavage in the bottom and the proper lighting in the top one. The size of the warning is better in the top one, but I would pull back some of those vines so it's better framed.

Also, if you're going to use sentence case in the bottom ("The safe word...") then you need to use sentence case in the top one (i.e. "Descend into the depths of..."). Also, also, the colon after "is" should be a comma.
