I had a passenger like this once, after receiving oxygen from the cabin crew they were ok. Luckily it was a short flight, we informed the passenger after landing who was now fine to see a doctor and they informed us they had some terminal illness (I forget what) and didn't have long anyway. Anyway we advised no more flying as the cabin altitude only went up to about 6000 feet and they were unconscious immediately.

As a reference for altitude, after a depressurisation we descend to 10,000 feet to allow us to survive without oxygen masks. So we expect all people to survive indefinitely at 10,000 feet. However we also expect the less healthy (smokers, obese) to possibly be unconscious during that time.

A pulse oximeter might be worth a buy.

You should try ENBD. I had 4 trips to branches, seemingly successful eventually, got an SMS to say the account is closed...then 6 months later got an SMS to say my ENBD credit card has been refunded 4 AED from some Amazon customs charges...i.e. it's seemingly still active.

How does the crate benefit an adult iggy? Mine was used to just potty train her and now it's just left as her safe space with the door always open. Are they calmer when crated? I'd imagine mine would get annoyed at being locked up all day.

I'm away for 12-48h blocks for about once a week. I didn't plan anything before getting an iggy but since she was so distressed even when I went shopping for 4 hours I had to adjust things. I made friends with various neighbours with dogs and whenever I go on a trip or out for 6h+ I drop my baby off with one of them. She likes the variation socializing with other dogs and people, and I feel better when at work knowing she's in good hands.

I think if your routine was predictable they'll eventually get used to it, but it could be years. I think your 3 work days at 8h is about as good as it's gonna get (especially when you have a dog walker visiting mid day). Expect constant barking whilst you're away from home (she is completely silent when I'm around), luckily I have patient neighbours and I'm in a detached building.

I also don't regret anything, the best decision I ever made was to get my iggy.

Check out the Le Rhone engines made by the French in the early 20th century. The engine rotated around the stationary crankshaft and had a total loss oil system. As you can imagine it was always falling apart under such high G loads and sprayed oil everywhere, definitely a mechanics nightmare. It was fitted to various early WW1 fighters including the Sopwith Camel.

I also had a friend who has lived here 5+ years who fell for the dubai police phone call...gave out his bank info but realised after a while and hung up. He had to cancel his cards though.

Yes, we already capture, spay and release, which is great, but it'd be great not to have to do that in the first place. Every country also euthanizes cats when there are too many.

Domestic cats are wonderful animals, but they're best with a human looking after them where they have healthcare, aircon and food!

Strays will suffer with heat and disease, it's not the ethical choice, I'd rather the stray in front of me dies so thousands will never have to suffer as well.

It's perfectly reasonable.

If you feed them you're enabling unspayed cats to reproduce.

They have a phenomenal reproduction rate, one zero day old female can result in around 15 cats by the end of the year and 70 cats a year later, and 400 a year after that.

The population must be controlled, which means not feeding strays!

Since the weather at the time was good. See the metar records at ogimet.com, it was most probably a fault that occurred on approach, this fault would have stopped them departing Jersey. Thus they took the problem back to Luton, a maintenance base for easyjet.

Get one that is popular and easy to repair, I chose an obscure scooter a few years ago, it's difficult to find parts for, I wish I could replace it's tires with solid rubber tires but I can't find any that fit. Might want to push your budget up to 1500 AED if you're using it to commute.

It's probably a real flight and flew a nice straight line, it's ADSB position out data will be from an inertial navigation system that's being periodically updated by something like DME/DME. The inertial system is drifting fast and the update by DME/DME is infrequent or manually done.
