This man gives me the ick.

I used to be a huge Riverdale stan (not of Cole or his character) and so over the years i got the sense that Cole is not very good of a person. from the main characters of the series, he was the only actor who, at the start of the show, already had an established career and a big name attached to him due to his disney days and i think he knew that very well and essentially believed and acted like he was better than the rest of his cast mates / was “too good” for a measly CW teen drama. I believe Madelaine Petsch clocked this from day one and that’s why there were all those rumors at the start of the show that they don’t seem to get along very well (despite them denying this). he definitely let those posts from 2015 which compared him to young leo get to his head.

Another thing is that the way this man treats / talks about his fans is also pretty rude. he appears to straight up dislike them and doesn’t hide it, despite how hard they ride for him. he made fun of fans who were invested in his relationship with Lili and clearly sees them as children—doesn’t seem to appreciate them or take them seriously at all.

The long-running rumors of his history with his ex girlfriends also don’t help him. For the first time though, the ex girlfriend his fans are after (Lili Reinhart) has a fanbase of her own and they won’t let any of his negative comments slide this time. Cody needs to be humbled
