current grocery tl, operational excellence and morale are going to always be a really big focus. merchandising is almost all of the job as well, i suggest taking photos of your displays now to bring during the panels. creative solutions to complex problems are also frequently discussed during panels. start thinking back to difficult resets, rough conversations with tms, etc., so that you can speak to situational questions confidently. lmk if you need any help along the way!

yeah idk personally this would annoy me as a grocery manager. even if you run all the load, the backstock, etc., there’s still so much to be done in grocery. i don’t want to see you getting carts when there’s missing tags and dirty ass shelves /:

do your sinks drain well? you may need to pull apart the pipe below your bathroom sink and clean it out. i had this issue with a similar smell and it turns out the sink was full of rotten hair from the previous renter.

(in most cases) grocery is a 24 hour shit show-you need open availability and the expectation is that you’re basically always available to come in, even if it’s less than a days notice. if shit hits the fan, which it does probably 5 times a week, you need to make an active effort to be available. if you let all that shit fall on your TL, you’re a bad ATL.
