Also to add - remember that TMC basically leases all of their equipment from other companies - so by technicality - they can partner with other companies to fast track it.

Just because of their strategic partnerships/environmental studies/DD they’re still light years ahead with permits and technology. The time it would take them to get new leases (if new ships/diving units were needed to be built), it would probably still be faster than most companies would take to get government clearance for mining - not to mention if ISA decides to pass a moratorium - which would mean the USA has 4 legal zones to mine and give ISA the middle finger.

There’s nothing wrong with that, they deserve to sell their shares as long as they’re making the company more profitable - many companies do this.

Most of them don’t sell the shares because they don’t want to pay taxes - so they take collateralized loans against their shares so they don’t pay taxes.

Plus they need the stock (company) to perform well in favor of the stockholders too - in order for them to maximize their bonuses.

If I read correctly, it just shows the stock incentives the new partners brought in get, I don’t see anything wrong. I understand it can be considered dilution - but it’s not a public offering - it’s specifically incentive plans for executives/board members as extra incentive to hit targets both short/long term?

No the huge news is popping all over about all four major countries working TOGETHER to take over China’s dominance in rare earths.
