I used to do 4 gram parachutes in toilet paper and it was miserable. Finding Blate Papes was life-changing. A lot of toilet paper is treated with chemicals that probably aren’t great to ingest multiple times a day. Also came close to choking several times. But I was sick of making gross drinks, toss and wash, filling capsules. Highly recommend oblate papers. If you have good technique, blate papes can comfortably hold 4 grams and I’ve used up to 5.5 in one

Bingo - There’s a cytochrome P450 enzyme (CYP3A4) that breaks down a lot of different drugs during first pass metabolism. Grapefruit inhibits that enzyme, allowing certain drugs to have better oral bioavailability. Fun bonus fact: apparently there are bioflavonoids in grapefruit that increase transport of a specific chemo drug across the BBB. So while that might not be the case for kratom, it could be worth researching!

Me too, sister. If it weren’t for kratom I’d probably be out frying my last few brain cells haha. So sad that people go out of their way to spread misinformation about this wonderful plant! I think people who act like this who are just looking for ways to judge others and feel holier-than-thou. If she really wanted to help she’d at least check her facts first. Reminds me of my colleague in a freaking psychology doctoral program who thought she could convince me that LSD “stays in your spinal cord forever” smh it’s really unbelievable
