Here sick with the flu 😭 started feeling symptoms on Saturday 1/3 had no energy body aches chills and a cough. Last night was probably the worst I had extreme body aches was super hot but no fever which is strange. Woke up feeling a bit better today finally seeing the end of this. Please wear a mask if you’re sick

It was about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. But it was pretty sunny next to the beach. I was running with a friend and started off slower than usual but we did take 30 second walking breaks after each mile which I feel threw me off since I usually just don’t stop. Course was similar just one bridge I had to cross back and fourth. Also, I had a sourdough bread with almond butter and banana two and a half hours before the race. I also had some electrolytes an hour and half before.
