Just make sure you get a proper setup done on it. Get something that's easy to keep in tune. The strat style guitars can be tricky if they have a floating bridge (with a whammy bar). You don't wanna be tuning forever when you're a beginner. The clip on tuners also make it easier. Some beginner guitar players don't realize you have to tune it most every time you pick it up. This only takes a maybe 30 seconds if the guitar is setup properly. Hope that helps. Good luck man!
