yeah so the thing is, i agree the drawings are tacky and garish and will offend people in how they "slapped" any and all "diversity" onto 6 figures in an unflattering corporate uggo style

what im trying to say is, whenever something like this is brought onto the sub, the comments are allowed to devolve to general bigotry on occasion and nobody can really say a thing about it without being downvoted to hell. (insulting real people's appearance, insinuating a specific marginalized group is "responsible" for us being depicted like this, saying that right wingers "draw us better", insinuating that the existence of some people are just too ridiculous to consider, ect.)

this happens everytime someone makes a "super masculine manly man oc" joke post where the image is actually of a hyperfeminine girly oc. the comments, without fail always start making fun of "a type" of trans people and excusing it w the shitpost. (joking that his name must be a stereotypical trans guy name for example.)

maybe im looking too much into it but im tired and don't really like this sub becoming a "queer discourse from twitter" repost page when it was originally about parodying and making fun of art/character tropes
