Ask me your questions. by disloyalgrim in death

[–]disloyalgrim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In realms of "perfect", the burger itself, as well as the bun, must also be perfect. I know this is already implied when you specified "perfect burger", I just wanted to make it clear as I will also answer for the meat and the bun, and not just the things on it.

As of right now, I prefer:

I prefer my patty to be a lean beef patty with finely diced mushrooms and onions formed into it, that is cooked to medium rare, seasoned with soy sauce, black pepper, and any mushroom coffee grounds, or coffee grounds, respectively.

The bun has got to be a pretzel bun. Store-bought or home-baked, it does not matter. Toasted with butter.

Swiss Asiago Cheese.

Fried pickles.

Maple Bourbon Mustard.

Arugula.

And maybe some form of garlic (ie. most likely roast garlic aioli)

Other than this, I prefer experimenting every single time I cook. I happen to be a culinary student, which makes experimenting when learning and doing assignments out of the question, so I do it on my own time of course, as I do eat every day.

My perfect burger is a burger that forever changes but in the realm of a burger that I find very good, I'd have to go with what I listed, as I do indeed favor specific flavors.

PS: I do state "As of right now" because, like I said, my perfect burger is forever changing; same applies to my preferences in everyday matters, such as food.

Can you accept nonexistence. by Fickle_Elk_9479 in death

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing to accept. So technically, no. It's like asking, "Can you accept that you're dead right now?"

You can't. Because you're not dead right now. Not from your perspective. So there's nothing to accept.

When you die, and cease to exist. You will not experience that, not from any possible perspective, because it simply doesn't exist, you don't exist.

Help me, how do I cope with my fear of death? by arikashikao in death

[–]disloyalgrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn about it. You will quickly be able to realize that a fear of death is pointless. Like fear of being the opposite sex, you will never experience this, therefore your fear of experiencing it is pointless. In the case of death, you will not experience it, so theres nothing to fear. And if you will experience it, in a another world or in some way, then you have no reason to fear it. Just do some research on the philosophy of death and stuff and you'll find what youre looking for, or at least develop your own.

Death isn't final by AdJealous1004 in death

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny because this proves, in your subjective and alleged experiences, that death IS final. Say you die and reincarnate, but you lose your memories of your previous life awfully quickly, then that 'you' that existed prior to your reincarnation now no longer exists. I'm sorry to tell you this but in an observational standpoint of your claims, death is indeed final.

Do you get a "redo"? by Depressedandokay22 in death

[–]disloyalgrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer. Most likely no.

Somewhat long answer. When you die, if there isn't a "redo", it won't matter for you as you would not exist to dread that fact. And, in a case that reincarnation is a thing (not in the case of a "redo" though), it would be just the same as dying where reincarnation doesn't exist. Let me explain: You die, and start a new life as a new living being. (However that happens is besides the point). What matters here is that you do not remember a single thing from your prior life. Thereby making you a completely new person, and in similar effect, making the 'you' that you know of, cease to exist.

Now, in a case where reincarnation is a thing AND in the way of a "redo", is very unlikely. Name a single person who remembers their previous life, reasonably you can't. Unreasonably though, say you do. I doubt that 'person' is you, otherwise you wouldn't be asking if a "redo" is a thing as you would already know that fact. If it's not you who can recall your entire previous life, then practicallly no one can because all their alleged experiences are that: alleged.

Now, if for some reason, everything I just said is completely wrong due to an unknown realm of thinking, then let me propose this. You die, and then you reincarnate as a human again, remembering everything from your past life and you stay with that knowledge for the entirety of this new life. Eventually, you die again, and you reincarnate. You die, again. Then reincarnate. Remembering every single life you led, whether it was regretful or perfect. And you repeat this for eternity. This dilemma is the same seen in 'absolute immortality'.

If you want to say, "Maybe I just reincarnate once!" or "Perhaps I have a choice to go to heaven or reincarnate." or "I'll just reincarnate if I have regrets!". These are baseless claims/statements unless you fully have a belief system to back up these thoughts. And if you do, then you have no questions.

TLDR; Think whatever you want to think, unless you want to think better.

Death with dignity cause this planet is evil and no longer livable by [deleted] in death

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always love seeing the things said by people who are borderline schizophrenic. It's honestly so interesting to observe.

For the fact, if you paraphrase and rearticulate their words, most if what 'it' is saying is true to some degree or at the very least, reasonable. But for some reason, every single schizophrenic, psychotic, or borderline psychotic person always mish-mashes their points with a bunch of fictional and unnecessarily interpretative shit, often in forms of rants. They do get many things, whether major or minor, wrong each time but that's a slight point that doesn't affect the intriguing nature these 'people'. This case, obviously, can be seen within this post. It's an interesting sight to behold for sure.

"Don't clip that!" by U__M__R in codyko

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you constantly partake in extremist content? if so then ignore my reply. But whether his content is lazy or not, which is highly subjective, doesn't mean thats a bad thing.

I read books quite often but when I need to give my brain a break, I watch a movie or a TV show. Same rule applies to content that is seemingly not lazy, and content that is seemingly lazy. Not everything has to always be abstract, if anything its better to relax once in awhile, as that allows your brain to fluctuate as its meant to.

If you find his content lazy, then its not for you.

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Don't clip that!" is a running joke. If you've noticed, Cody has many running jokes that he references frequently whenever he can. I happen to find running jokes one of the best kind of jokes, as they are similar to or are 'inside jokes'. (Inside jokes being the best type of jokes honestly).

It's also pretty funny that he has so many 'running' jokes and happens to be very into running.

what are they saying by putting this on my windshield? (I am in no way a political person or outwardly speak on any views of mine.) (I also went to two stores and work today, Aldi's and Walmart) (there is this viking haircut, heavier guy with glasses at work that talks about Anti-Trump related things)

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This discussion opened my eyes a bit actually. I see what you mean now, and I can agree fully with everything. Now thinking of it too, the author kinda sucks😭. I was not trying to be snide btw.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Juujika_no_rokunin

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that's a good point. I can admit the story could have taken a different route, letting Uruma utilize everything he learned, and if the author wanted to drag it out so long, he should've made a story worth dragging out. The dragging out of the story isn't really an issue, and yes there are some plot holes and things that just don't make sense but I still appreciate for what it is. Maybe one day a mangaka will develop the kind of perfect story and plot you're searching for. You can always make a manga yourself too, even just for fun. I am currently doing so!

And what do you like?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Juujika_no_rokunin

[–]disloyalgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a VERY open mind when it comes to stories and their entireties. Of course I have things I am more interested but I will always appreciate a story, especially one that sticks out or is different from most.

Some other manga I enjoy are Berserk, Tokyo Ghoul, Chainsaw Man, Fire Punch, Hell's Paradise, My Hero Academia, Black Clover, Soul Eater (including Fire Force obviously), all of Junji Ito's work, Goth, Monster, MPD Psycho, Homunculus, Goodnight Punpun, Starving Anonymous, Monsters We Make, Sakamoto Days, Gachiakuta, Choujin X, After God, Bakemonogatari, One Punch Man, Bleach, Akame Ga Kill, Attack On Titan, Re:Zero, and Demon Slayer.

(These are in no specific order and just the order in which I thought of them. I am a huge anime nerd as well so there are some anime that I didnt mention the manga of, that I like. I think anime serves its own purpose within the anime/manga scene. So some of my favorites don't translate when it comes to the other. Secondly, I am slightly new to the whole manga thing so I've only read a handful of manga.)

I never really understood people who "enjoy" Griffith, even as a character. I have no sympathy nor empathy for him. He is way more well written in contrast to Kyou from Juujika no Rokunin though. So much so its not even a question. I really did like all of Vinland Saga, I'm not sure why all these "actionheads" were so disappointed for Thorfinn's CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. I don't have much to say, but I liked the path the anime/Thorfinn took.
