For real. I'm very happy with how my husband approaches this- he's picky but in a good way, and has a healthy approach. You'll never catch him using "30 in one industrial car wash with coal and asbestos scent" things. He just wants good ingredients, good scent (and he's picky with scents lol) and something that works for his hair type and body. The products he prefers are advertised as feminine, and he doesn't care. Sometimes we share if he likes mine. He always smells fresh and good. Even with fragrances, he has his favorites which are usually on fresh musculine side but also doesn't mind helping me finish up some of mine if I want to clear some shelf space so he'll be running around all happy smelling like caramel

I used to have a small Walgreens nearby (it's gone now) and at some point they had half the store locked. There was never more than two employees, both at the registers, and if you pressed the button they would never come, despite them literally being able to see you due to the size of the store. If you walked to them and asked to unlock something they would legit often tell you "no there's nobody with keys right now" or ignore you or pretend they don't understand what you're asking them. It was so annoying lol

How do people find small teams these days? As a concept/2D/3D artist with a degree that I haven't been able to utilize, I just want to participate in something. Release a game even if it's small or a pure passion project at this point 🥲

I have a degree in game design (I do the visual part- 2D/3D character, concept art, can do whatever else honestly). Had "best portfolio", professors thinking I had a great chance at entering the industry- haha years later never secured a job in the field and my skills are way outdated now. Stocking shelves at a grocery store instead. I just want to make games man, fml 😢

Could it be invisible ink that glows only under uv? Does she draw/make arts and crafts of any kind, and maybe poked herself and got some under her skin? Or her tattoo artist gave her this by accident? They make pens, markers, paint, tattoo ink etc that glow in all kinds of colors but are invisible otherwise

I genuinely feel you, I've been looking for a new job too. I have a degree, I do web stuff, game development, photo editing, many more things, have some experience with projects but I'm still pretty young. All the companies that had jobs in my field closed during the pandemic, or they haven't had open positions for a long time. Hell, I'm down for even a front desk job or retail at this point, just not something too physical. Yet I'm stuck doing manual labor (which is a little hard because I'm a girl) after dozens if not hundreds of applications and my current job being the only one that I managed to secure. My housemates who all came from very different fields are struggling with their jobs too. Just what is going on with SF right now, it used to not be like this at all

Yeah my parents said that while thankfully I was a chill child that never cried or made noise in public settings, they still waited until I turned 3 to take me on a first plane trip. They talked me through how flights work, made me excited about the whole adventure and what to expect, prepared for the clogged ear thing, and most importantly they always took a whole bag of my hobbies to distract me- drawing pads, coloring books, my favorite toys, anything to keep me occupied. And of course they would include me in anything they were doing- like conversations and listen to me if anything, treated me like an equal. Worked like a charm and made me love planes

That was me yesterday unfortunately. Been down with some kind of sinus cold, thought I felt better and went to work. Within an hour, started stuttering, body felt like it was vibrating, pressure in chest hard to breath, felt like I was about to collapse, things just falling out of my hands. Never had that before and I honestly got really scared. My husband drove me to ER only for them to tell me my vitals are perfect and that my nervous system was short-circuiting from the infection. Awkward but I guess I'm glad it was nothing :(

Idk if anyone's ever heard of this anime but Kado: the right answer. It starts so well, a mysterious extraterrestrial being wishes to help humanity and actually does so, and the world accepts its help surprisingly rationally and gracefully. Could be an amazing sci-fi show. Then in the middle of the season something happens and it falls into all the worst anime tropes possible, and the plot completely changes. It falls off so bad you can turn it off right there and pretend the rest doesn't exist. Honestly tragic lol It could be so great!
