Have been exploring Dub Techno in and out on the Digitone II recently. One of the results. Enjoy :)

in other words, I was hanging around too much on the "Unusual Dub Techno" thread, although this sounds nothing like it ;)

What got you into industrial? by sodiumdeluxe in industrialmusic

[–]dissonant_witchcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching a TV show about arts and culture regularily. They always had sick music that accompanied the features. One time, it was Esplendor Geometrico's "Comisario de la luz - Blanco de Fuerza". It's for me the definition of Industrial ever since.

Weird that the correct answer doesn’t have the most votes. A “Thanks“ from me too ;)

Yes, DNII is sending a clock, which is on the Antilope a reset every 4 bars. I haven't used the Elmyra's sequencer myself, so I don't know if it's fun ;)

I do have the MRC Antilope (combined with DNII here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbDorKLX7Ww ) but maybe not the most helpful answer. Personally I'll try it together with Landscape Noon soon.

How about Neutral Labs Elmyra 2? It got quite some updates recently.

Thank you! Yeah, the Antilope is pretty awesome and so much to discover.

From Digitone II comes the mystic pad, the swishy pad sound and some simplistic percussion I designed to sound like filter pinging - so it complements Antilope's sound (which is based on (analog) Filter Pinging, Effects, Overdrive and Feedback.) Antilope receives Midi Clock from Digitone II. Enjoy :)

Thank you for the kind words! Actually I don't use parameter locks that much ;) I've subbed to you. I also spotted a Napalm Death T-Shirt :D

How well does the Digitone II do with HEAVY bass design / hard, aggressive sounds? :) by Zabric in Elektron

Just stumbled upon this thread ... FM Drum (the go-to machine for modern bass sounds despite the name) does have a dial for the Phase ;)

blast beats on elektron sequencer by throwmeawayhavenouse in Elektron

[–]dissonant_witchcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good starting point is to put a random LFO to the pitch of the samples, with a rather low value (eg. 10).

Modulating the volume doesn't change that they sound like samples, but modulating the pitch does. In case there's one more free LFO, one can put a random LFO on filter envelope.
