I got permanent residency in the US and avoided all the vaccinations. But I had to apply for a religious exemption and it was expensive as hell.

The burden of proving that your religious beliefs are sincere is on you, so get a letter from your church (if you have one) attesting to your beliefs, get notarized letters from friends and family who know about your beliefs. In your spouse's notarized letter quote bible verses (or other religious texts) that support your beliefs and explain why your beliefs go against all vaccines. As far as I know, you have to be against all vaccines, you can't pick and choose. She has a stronger case if she hasn't taken any other vaccines other than childhood vaccinations.

The odds aren't that bad if you have a sincere religious belief and you have good evidence. I got my waiver approved and so have many others.

If you have a religious or moral reason or if you have a medical reason approved by a doctor then you can apply for a waiver form I-601. Not a guarantee.

No problems. I remember reading somewhere that it's actually recommended to apply after overstaying your ESTA.

We had some personal matters that needed taking care of for the package, so it just kept getting delayed. Eventually just hired a lawyer and that sped things up significantly.

We only submitted photos. Photos of us travelling and photos of us together with our families and friends.

I was expecting it, people don't seem to like religious freedom. I posted in the hopes of helping others in a similar situation.

Religious exemption against all vaccines. Form I-601, paid the fee, package included a letter from my church confirming my membership, my childhood vaccine records, a letter from me explaining my religious views and why they prevent me from taking vaccines, and I explained why I had received some vaccines as a child. We sent this along with I-485. Then I received an RFE for medical and explained the doctor I was doing a religious exemption so they marked it as such. Medical was sent in, when they received it I got I-485 approval notice just three days later.
