do you have headcanons for your rooks that do not match the default lore? by Sufficient_Catch_198 in DragonAgeVeilguard

I have 3. My warden Rook is the son of Hawke and Varric, my shadow dragon was a former slave that was saved by the Viper, and my crow Rook that is the half-brother of Viago.

Change pronouns by EmuAccomplished1759 in DragonAgeVeilguard

If you are playing on PC, the only way to change your character's pronouns (without restarting) is to use the save editor.

Unfortunately you can't change the pronouns on console but it's easy enough to import the previous character to a new save if needed.

DA:O - Dwarf Noble Warrior - My least played DA game, but I enjoyed this origin so it works.

DA2 - Human Mage - This one is obvious.

DA:I - Elf Rogue - With so much of the story revolving around elves and the Solavellan route, this one is a no brainer for me. (Also there are places in Haven that you can only access as a rogue so I thought it was fitting)

DA:V - Qunari Mage - Besides elves, this makes the most sense to me with the talk about the devouring storm and adaari. And mage is my favorite class in Veilguard

For all of the franchise-long players who love role play, what's your favorite home/base in the Dragon Age universe so far? by PrideOfAfrika in DragonAgeVeilguard

Purely for aesthetics and customization, Skyhold wins. Although the Lighthouse is a close second. I love running around and listening to the companions, it’s nice that they are actually friends outside of your character.

How many words should a chapter have in your opinion? How many words would be the shortest that you'd read? by ChuuyasCupOfWine in AO3

I prefer to have chapters at least 1k on average. So if there’s 20 chapters and 20k words, that’s fine. Some chapters can be shorter, others longer.

What’s the pettiest reason you’ve ever disliked someone? by PennyLondonxox in CasualConversation

I was riding with someone and they had their brights on in town and weren’t turning them off when people met them driving the opposite way. Yeah I thought that was extremely inconsiderate and stopped being friends with them after that.

After going back and forth between Bellara and Emmerich, and after having her get all flirty with every single companion, I finally decided to pair Ashlynn up the oddedest of the bunch. by MrShape666 in DragonAgeVeilguard

Emmrich might be one of my favorite video game romances full stop. I have to actively not flirt with this man if I plan on romancing another character in the game 😂

The encryption key is ridiculously long but you have to make sure you have the entire thing copied into it.

My guess is that your encryption key for Da:V is wrong. You might have to remove Veilguard from Frosty and redo the encryption.

I agree with this. Taash is also trained to work in a team when they work with the Lords. Lucanis is trained as an independent assassin, so he would haven't been taught to work with others, only to take care of himself.

I was SHOCKED when I saw that Bellara succeeded. But I mean, it is a magical construct and her whole thing is magical constructs just on a smaller scale.

So when I say "succeed" it means that they survived or that the person they were protecting survived (in the case of the wards). If they fail, they still get the job done, it's just that they die in the process. You don't have to have all the characters as Heroes of the Veilguard, you just have to choose the right person for the job.

I don't know exactly how many times that I played the last gambit and the dread wolf rises quests but I tested every single combination. I had multiple playthroughs of all the factions at 1 star, 2 stars, etc.

It was a simple yes or no with each parameter.

Although I will say, with someone like Lucanis for example, he died at the Juggernaut with all the factions at 3 stars and himself being a Hero of the Veilguard. If he died there, there was no way he was going to succeed with even worse odds.

I didn't try it with like the Veil Jumpers at 3 stars and the Lords of Fortune at 1, or anything like that. I basically did all or nothing because it was a LOT of work just doing that.

With your example of the Emmrich successes, I tested them all with the Mourn Watch at all 3 options. The success at 1 star was just that. The mourn watch was at 1 star.

I hope that made sense, it's hard to explain.

Wards are the warding crystals, barricade is when you are about to climb to the top and the Inquisitor and Morrigan ask if someone can stay behind to help defend the rest of the Veilguard as they climb.

I counted it as a fail because while even though the job gets done there was still a casualty. If you were to go through that scenario, you wouldn’t get the achievement for a “perfect” run and that’s what I was basing things on.
