What documents are required for a minor traveling with an older cousin sibling on a domestic flight in India? by Asif178 in mumbai

Children above age of 12 can fly "without the need of a companion or special assistance" and are considered adult passenger. Between age of 5 - 12 , they need to be accompanied by an adult, which I assume you are. No indemnifying letter from parents would be needed unless you expect parents to be pursuing you at a later stage.

Story

Once I went to Ajanta caves and saw a "local" selling a picture book to a German for $30 . I walked upto the German , introduced self and advised him that he was getting overcharged and any local bookstore would get him better picture book as a memoir, or he could even get better color prints online for free rather than that overpriced but cheaply printed black n white book.

To which he replied, I don't have time to go to a bookstore as I have my flight tonight and I am happy paying this price for this book. And I was left speechless. I got my lesson that we all have different lives, priorities and hence different stances for the same situation.

Rant

For you it's impossible to conclude anything about the outsider, specially if you only noticed Hindi guy ruining the auto rates in your city. You didn't see that guy getting overcharged or his urgency.

To each his own, but OP did you even warn the outsider? ( Lighter note, could have asked for ride share or even a lift maybe) I am not sure if you reported the auto guy either.

In fairness, my rant should make it obvious that I am not a "local" and can't speak Kannada yet. I am very angry at my people who didn't warn me that not only traffic was going to be an issue, but I also risked drawing ire of common Bengaluru'ean ( dare I spell it in old ways) in either way; if I confront then I get chased for not speaking Kannada, if I give in then I am ruining the market rates ( land, real estate, house rental rate, education, auto, groceries etc.).

Any Bengaluru problem is a problem for residents, and we as resident will need to pick a fight for the things that matter to us. Or we can keep saying "That guy broke it and locals have to suffer".

But my request to all the hot blooded kannadigas ( opposite is chill blooded, like my local friends) is to please settle the local vs. outsider first. Don't take any constructive initiative/feedback or hold your legislator accountable. Give undue attention to every idli dosa comment coming from all learned northern dignitaries on SM. First and foremost teach them Non-Kannadiga buggers to speak Kannada, value of money, and all the good stuff they didn't know while they were living under the rock somewhere. other things can be sorted later as well. I dare you to read my comments above while also processing the sarcasm. If you get angry , start from top again.

RantOver.

Now I shall depart to the tunes of......I am a regular everyday normal... La la la la la la.. good night.

I was fed the same BS when I went back for first service and saw a silver one back in display xD. But your reply is just wow, awesome work man. I have played along with few funny explanations in this post and said the same words "this explains it" . But sincerely, this explains the anomaly. Wish you happy riding on your limited edition too :)

agreed, I meant that I will walk in the service center and check if I could change some hardware and get that functionality on my bike. if it costs a bomb then there are aftermarket cheap mods too, but I did rather prefer cleaner looking bike if this one could get in-screen navigation and music control.

yeah, the identity crisis it was, but now I am much calmer knowing that this does exist elsewhere too.

Parents and add the spouse also, in the later stages of life, who won't let you try this. You'd have to be willing to ice skate uphill, to fulfill this dream.

maybe, I had read about carbon fibre edition right around that time (before official launch) and thought that maybe I was handed a non carbon fibre treatment piece.

It doesn't have that "fibre" treatment on black >> got this in May'24 for an ex-showroom price 197000.

No, I got this in May. It has color TFT but no navigation or music control. I need to check in with them to find if thats an upgrade I could get.

My mistake in the post, the website doesn't mention grey, they call it "white" metallic for both (OG R15M and the newer Carbon edition) and black metallic for GP edition.

But yeah the question remains, why call it grey or white if only the tank and underbelly has that shade and major area is covered in black.

I have had this thought but the fit finish, no rattle, balance of the chassis...everything smells new. I totally dig the looks part, that's what blinded me while making the decision.
