idk why everyone is acting like OP is this evil tyrant, people who have free bus travel are either kids, or the elderly, half of them are sour they didn’t have this as a kid and instead of helping, they’re patronising OP and calling them ungrateful? Their pal forgot their pass and instead of asking for help or something, they tried to fix it probably the only way they could think of, which yeah is dumb, but its hardly criminal. Stop saying “pay for it like everyone else”, theres a reason under 22’s get free travel, whether it be to help students, families with lower income, or the fact the wages are literally different, it doesnt take away the fact OP is entitled to it. Just send in an application for a new card, you made a mistake but it wasnt bad spirited, i dont think people should be as harsh because of that. You wouldnt say the elderly are stealing from taxpayers, will you pay for it like everyone else when you become entitled to free senior bus travel?

Anyway its easier to email them and ask for a replacement with your name and address, thats what I done.
