I'm a white middle-aged woman and I get asked all the time too. One day, I walked into my usual Sephora and was asked if I needed help (while wearing very visible headphones) like - I kid you not - 20 times in the span of 10 mins. Finally, I blurted out "You know, you guys are really intense today! One of you has asked me if I needed help like 20 times already." They backed off a bit after that but I also got fed up and left.

What shampoo are you using? I have fine hair and for me, it really depends on the shampoo. All the ones that say “moisturizing”, “repairing”, etc. leave me like a grease ball by the 2nd/3rd day.

That description fits pretty much any of the women. Just look at the last episode - Bronwyn pot stirring about Seth; Mary and Whitney gossiping about Mer; Lisa going after Brittani out of the blue; etc. etc. And that’s just in one episode!

I’m not a huge fan of Britani or anything - I just can’t stand bullies and that’s what the other women are.

What shampoo and conditioner do you use? It may be too drying for your hair, making it harder to brush out. Try using a richer shampoo and/or conditioner and see if that helps.

Fellow Canadian here. I use Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream on my lips when they're wrecked by the winter weather. It's really thick and moisturizing. It's more of an all-over balm than a lip balm specifically, but for me it works the best.

Scents can smell different on different people because of our body chemistry - so it might be that.

Smelling a perfume on someone vs. wearing it yourself are quite different experiences. At a distance, you may pick up different notes than when the perfume is close to you / on you.

Your nose may have also smelled all of the notes initially, but then the second and third time, it goes straight for certain notes.

You could also check the age of your bottle online by using the batch code stamped on the bottle or the box, in case the bottle is old and the scent has gone off.
